Unbelievable!!!

I had to do some happy dancing again today... because I made it to the top 20 finalists of Paper Crafts' Gallery Idol 2009!!!! Unbelievable! Ok, I was amazed already, because when I submitted this card on the 19th, the comments on it came flying in. I never had so much feedback on a card before. But to make it to the finalists... I am so so happy! Sometimes sleep deprivation is the best way to have great ideas! My baby girl still wants to be fed about 4 times every night and while she is drinking (about 10 min) I always make up cards... The problem is that sometimes I like the idea for a card so much that I can`t go back to sleep when she has finished drinking. Then I have to think about the idea... Well it`s worth it! Now we have to create a wedding card next. Love this theme!

Thank you for stopping by and keep your fingers crossed, please!!

Happy hugs

Happy dancing

I am so happy!! I won the fresh face prize of last week`s "beinspired" challenge of Hero Arts!! When I read about this, I started dancing and hopping around, then called my husband and told him (dancing and hopping) about it, then went downstairs to my Mum in law and did some hopping with her and when my babygirl finished her nap, I did some dancing with her, too. Pooh! I was so touched by the ladies of the group, telling me that they are happy for me! They are so kind and I am glad to be a part of this community!

Here is another card I made for this week`s challenge about complementary colors. I was inspired by Shari`s lovely card:

Supplies: Stamps Hero Arts, Button Hero Arts, Patterned Paper Papertrey Ink

Thank you for stopping by and have a happy happy day!

Thinking Inking week 2/Complementary Colors

This week`s Thinking Inking class is about embossing powders. Very interesting! Jennifer comes up with great ideas! The flower of the card is embossed 4 times with clear embossing powder and the circle is embossed about 6 times with liquid black ep. The Hero Arts blog is about complementary colors this week, so I combined it with the techniques! Thanks for stopping by!

Have a great day!

I love the Thinking Inking Class! It is so much fun, I just can`t stop it! And I can`t lay down this butterfly stamp, it is so beautiful...
I did some blending, watercolorstamping and edge distressing on this card. And on the butterfly I used Perfect Pearls. Love them!

Card Patterns - Sketch # 18

Welcome! I decided to participate in this week`s Card Patterns`challenge, following this Sketch:

Here is what I did with it:

I know, those bird houses again :)... But I love them! This time I tried a bit of distressing, I have to practice on that! The stamps and pp are from Papertrey Ink, for the distressing I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink peeled paint and tattered rose. Watching Tim Holtz`s videos, everything looks soo easy, but trying the techniques myself, it is not... But trying new techniques is so much fun, can`t wait to join Jennifer McGuire`s stamping class over at 2Peas!

Have a great day and thank you so much for stopping by!

Circle card - Papertrey Ink

Hello! This is my entry for the challenge of A Passion for Papertrey. I love my stamps!!! I colored the little bird houses with pencils, I still don`t get satisfying results with my copics...

Sorry for the lopsided pic, I had to be quick because my little one started to crawl last week and is teasing me ever since :). She looks at me, starts grinning and crawls giggling to the next plug socket (they are secured, but still she is not allowed to go there). Then I have to go after her and she screams happily when I catch her!

Have a great day, hope you are blessed with sunshine (it won`t stop raining here...)!

2 Sketches 4 You #3 - You are so tweet

I love Laura`s sketch! And YEEHPEEE, my Papertrey Ink stamps arrived!!! I had to pay another 28$ (!!!) for the tax, but now I have them... I don`t want to think about all those fees, that would have been 3 more large stamps sets!!
Last night I had so much fun playing with the stamps and papers. Here is my third take on Laura`s sketch #27:

The little owl is from Hero Arts. Love this little bird!

Thanks for stopping by!

2 Sketches 4 You #2 - White on white card

Welcome back! Here is my second entry for the 2 Sketches 4 You Ultimate Card Showdown! First Laura`s sketch:

And here we go, my second entry:

I wanted to create a white on white card for a while, just love the elegant and clean look! This won`t be my last white on white card for sure! I wish I had some small pearls for a perfect finish...
For the embossing, I used my various swirl stamps from Hero Arts, Basic Grey and Heindesign and embossed with white embossing powder, ivory embossing powder and stardust embossing powder. The pp is from Narratives by Karen Russell (Creative Imaginations). I hope you enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check the wonderful entries for this challenge here!
