Too many good-byes recently. Another colleague will leave to work somewhere else. I am happy for her, because I know she will do what she likes better there. So I made her this:

Explosion Box Mini Album

Hi! I am such an idiot sometimes! I just found out that I forgot to send the gift I had for my friend's new baby. When I wanted to get it to the post office, we all got sick and then I forgot about it! Now I wanted to create something extra special to go with the gift. So I made this:


Hi! Ich bin manchmal soo ein Depp! Ich habe grade herausgefunden, dass ich vergessen habe das Geschenk für das neue Baby meiner Freundin zu verschicken. Als ich es zur Post bringen wollte, sind wir alle krank geworden und ich habs total vergessen! Jetzt wollte ich noch etwas ganz besonderes machen um es mit dem Geschenk zu versenden. Also hab ich das hier gemacht:

Now she can add a lot of photos of her little boy and has a sweet album. This was fun to make! I used a file from svgcuts and patterned paper, stickers and buttons from October Afternoon.


Jetzt kann sie noch viele Fotos von ihrem kleinen Jungen reinkleben und hat dann ein süsses Album. Das hat echt Spass gemacht! Ich habe eine Datei von svgcuts verwendet, sowie Papiere, Sticker und Knöpfe von October Afternoon.

Everything I used is My Mind's Eye. Except for the butterfly stamp underneath the journaling. The journaling says something like this: You've got a very strong will. Once you've made up your mind, you insist on it. I wonder what to expect for the future...

We Love Life - Mini Album

Hi everybody! Today I have a mini album to share that I enjoyed so much creating! I couldn't wait to get my hands on the Saturdays collection from Little Yellow Bicycle and got it as soon as I found it online here in Germany. Oh, the blue. Sigh. And I had no idea that their stickers are embossed! They are gorgeous! Ok, here is the album:


Hi Ihr alle! Heute zeige ich ein Minialbum, dessen Herstellung mir soo viel Spass gemacht hat! Ich konnte es nicht erwarten, die Saturdays Kollektion von Little Yellow Bicycle in die Finger zu bekommen und habe sie sofort gekauft, als ich sie online in Deutschland entdeckt hatte. Das Blau. Seufz. Und ich hatte ja keine Ahnung, dass die Aufkleber auch noch geprägt sind! Die sehen so toll aus! Ok, hier ist das Album:

The cover is a binder from Maya Road. I just had to add the denim - it works so well with this collection! And the cork, too. It is very thick cork that I found in my friend's shop. The only dies that worked for it were my Sizzix Tattered Flowers. Now I need more of them!


Das Cover ist ein kleiner Ordner von Maya Road. Ich musste einfach Jeansstoff verwenden, das passt so gut zu dieser Kollektion! Und Kork auch. Diesen dicken Kork habe ich im Laden von meiner Freundin gefunden. Die einzige Stanze, die hier funktioniert hat, ist meine Sizzix Tattered Flowers Stanze. Jetzt brauch ich mehr davon!

I used photos of my little girl and me. We set the selftimer of my camera and just had fun. I am glad she loves fooling around with me :)
For the interactive sliders, I used dies from Papertrey Ink. And I added some Maya Road envelopes to hold more photos and memorabilia.


Ich habe Fotos von meiner Kleinen und mir verwendet. Wir hatten den Selbstauslöser an meiner Kamera angestellt und einfach ein wenig Spass gemacht. Ich bin froh, dass sie so gerne mit mir Quatsch macht :)
Für diese interaktiven Schieber habe ich Stanzen von Papertrey Ink verwendet. Und ich habe noch ein paar Maya Road Kuverts eingefügt für mehr Fotos und Erinnerungsstücke.

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS

Hello! I’m super excited to share a fun new digital/paper crafting kit with you today!

One of my online scrappy friends, Shanna Vineyard, has combined her love of hand-drawing and painting mixed with her fondness of bright, happy colors to bring us a kit that is different than anything you’ve ever seen! In celebration of her relocating back home to Arizona next week, she was inspired to create this kit, “Home Is Where the Heart Is” that includes over 50 different hand-drawn and painted images.  They can be used in your digital projects or can be easily resized and printed to cut out and use with your traditional scrapbooking and card making creations.  The possibilities are endless and you will have them to use over and over again as much as you like for as many projects as you wish!  So FUN!!!

Here’s what I made using her kit…..

The best thing with digital kits is, that you can choose what size your elements will be. So it's really easy to make shaped cards like I did here. I just printed out two of the hearts in cardsize (one heart was flipped before printing) and assembled them to create my cardbase. I had so much fun embellishing it! And because I enjoyed it so much, I created another project:
