Happy Thursday! Caardvarks is hosting a new challenge sponsored by Core'dinations and I loved the idea of creating some monochromatic cards! Here are two I made last night - more to follow :)
This first one is made using patterned papers from Vinnie Pearce's newest (and beautiful) digikit called "Poised". I love every single paper and element of this kit! Check it out here! For the background I used some Core'dinations cardstock, embossed it and sanded it. The couch and the cat are PTI stamps, the sentiment is Ali Edward's handwriting for Technique Tuesday. For my second card I used the little plane from the PTI "Tiny Treats: Valentine" set. I wanted to buy the new "Fly Away" set, but surprise surprise it was sold out again :(
But sweet Aimes reminded me of this cute little plane here and I used that instead. Here is a close-up to show its glossiness (made with Glossy Accents):
The clouds and the dots are Hero Arts stamps.
Ok, off to do some cleaning! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!!
Hugs,
Vanessa
