A Cute She-Dog

Hi everybody! A few days ago, I was playing with my Simon Says Stamp goodies and thought that the dog from the YOU ARE PAWESOME set would make a cute she-dog. So I dressed her up a bit and created this card:

The background of my card was created with the Simon Says Stamp exclusive stencil EXTRA LARGE DOTS, an ink blending tool and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. I gently applied ink in circular motions, trying to achieve a gradient look. Then I stamped the sentiment to the bottom of my card. The dog is stamped onto cardstock and colored with Copic markers, then I cut her out and adhered her with foam tape (I recommend buying the set with the matching dies, it would have made this a lot of easier!). To dress her up, I gave her a bow that I die-cut from cardstock using the little bow from this set. The card was finished off with some clear little sequins. I hope you like it!
