Sunny Studio's 6th Birthday Blog Hop

 Hello to you and welcome to the Sunny Studio's 6th Birthday Blog Hop! Happy Birthday, Sunny Studio!! Mendi is such a sweet and kind person, and I am wishing her all the best for the upcoming years!


I will provide more info about this blog hop at the end of this post, so be sure to read on. But first, my card for today.


I couldn't resist using these adorable images from the set called Bear Hugs. Just love these bears and trees! For my card, I first stamped the two cuties, masked them, stamped the trees, masked again and inked the background with Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Festive Berries Distress Oxide Inks. After I had removed the masks, I colored the images with Copic markers and adhered the panel to the card base. Now I die-cut the letters from the Chloe Alphabet from white cardstock, inked them with pink ink, matted the letters with black ones to create a shadow and adhered them to the card. Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the "sending" onto a strip of black cardstock, trimmed it and added it to the card.

    The images show up so much on the bright background. I would never have thought to use those colors for the background, but it worked.

    I love the background colors you used on this sweet card. The trees make a perfect spot for the little bears to sit in front of and coloring the letters in pink adds a cohesive touch. TFS.
