Win A Day Cards - Lace

Happy Friday! Today I'd like to share some cards I made for the WAD on the Hero Arts blog. This was a wonderful experience for me! I am glad I was able to work with Hero Arts artist Nancy Taylor. She is a wonderful, warm and sweet person! It was the best thing to "meet" her (thanks to the Internet). I made many cards, because I had a lot of fun playing with my new stamps and couldn't stop it. Everytime I thought I'd stop, I had another idea I wanted to try! Here are some cards using lace stamps. First a card that was chosen:



I love creating selfmade embellishments like these feltflowers and thought felt would go well with a lace image to enhance the homemade feeling. Next is another card that was chosen. It was my personal favorite, I love the white on white look:


You'll find the supplies and instructions for these cards here. And here is a card that wasn't featured. I thought I'd try something different with the lace background. Inspired by some beautiful wedding dresses with black lace, I stamped the lace onto vellum and cut out parts of it:
