Never Enough of Watercolor

So I can never get enough of watercolor. No wonder I have to play with the Mama Elephant and Me August Challenge! And it's a last minute entry to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Here is my card:

First, I applied Distress Inks to an acrylic block and spritzed it with water. Then I pressed the acrylic block onto a panel of watercolor paper. Using a brush, I applied more ink here and there and added droplets until I was ok with the result. The cute panda from Pandamonium was heat-embossed with black embossing powder and cut out to be adhered with foam tape. His party hat is from Honey Bunny. The pennants are made from washi. To make the "yay" more suitable for the little party, I embossed it with black glitter embossing powder. I hope you like it!
