winnie & walter Share the Love Week Featuring: Simon Says Stamp Day 5

Today is the last day of our winnie & walter share the love week featuring: Simon Says Stamp. I love both companies and it has been so much fun to combine them! Our last challenge is a sketch challenge.

Love it! This is my take on it:

On today's card, I used these together:

I started with a panel of watercolor paper. I love to use this kind of paper with Distress Inks, because I think they blend better on it. After I had placed my Simon Says Stamp Extra Large Dots stencil over it, I used an ink blending tool and applied Peacock Feathers Distress ink to create a gradient look. Then I removed the stencil and stamped some chevrons from the winnie & walter set Scenery: V for cheVron and sequins from Scenery: Big Bang Bling. My sentiment was die-cut from black card stock. After adhering it, I layered my papers and finished the card off with the gold star sequins. I hope you like it! And I hope you have enjoyed our share the love week. I did!
