Papertrey Ink "Do Me a Favor" Place Card Box

Happy Friday! I am back with my second project using the template "Do Me a Favor" that will be available for purchase on the 15th at Papertrey Ink! I immediately had so many different ideas for this cute template that I finished 3 boxes in one evening. Here is one I am planning to use as a place card for our Christmas dinner :

For the tag I used the gorgeous "Giga Guidelines" set:

And wrote the name of the recipient onto the back:

For this version I decided to close the box with ribbon that`s held in place by a knot in the inside of the box and is drawn through both box base and lid to close the box with another knot:

I hope you like my Place Card Box! And I hope my family will ;)! But I have to change the design a bit for our dinner, because Godzilla-Me managed to tear apart my new favourite stamp when taking it off the acrylic block - the beautiful flourish leaves stamp from the "Turning a New Leaf" set!!! You can`t imagine how that shattered me, it was brandnew and I was distracted for only one tiny moment and didn`t pay attention to how I lifted it from the block. Sorry for my whining, but the only ones to understand this tragedy are you!!
I`ll be back tomorrow with my third box using "Do Me a Favor". Be sure to visit Nichole Heady for the new releases and be inspired by her fabulous creations and those of the design team! I`d be happy if you were stopping by again!

Thank you for visiting today and have a wonderful Friday!

Hugs,
Vanessa

Thank you for sharing a peak into the "Do Me a Favor". Love the detail of your place cards! I can relate to your "trauma" with your new stamp. That happened to me one time and I would reach for that stamp so many times. I was thankful when I received my replacement.

I love the box! Super cute. I have to say that I have one PTI image that I also tore when pulling it off the acrylic block. VERY frustrating!

Lovely. Gorgeous color, and perfect idea.

O , I can understand your trauma with your new stamp. I will probably cry for days if something like that happen.

Ok, I'm cry already for my new puncher.

I'm so happy for your collaboration with PTI. Congratulations. And when I see your work I know that you you fully deserved this.

Many hags, L

Oh, so sorry to hear about your stamp. That's never happened to me, but I've lost one or two in the past. Your place card box is adorable. I have those same chocolates in my pantry, bought them in Austria a few months ago.

Great little boxes Vanessa, They will look so pretty on your table at Christmas. I am sorry about your stamp, I shall have to be more careful with mine, I didn't realize they could easily tear.

Quick, Nichole, get a new stamp to Vanessa.

Great idea of using the favor as a place card. I'm sure your table will look quite elegant.

I think your design has a beautiful simple elegance to it that could be foundon a plate in a Pottery Barn magazine. I love Pottery Barn AND your card!

Love the templates you have made! How neat to get to try them first, before they go on sale! :) So sorry about the stamp, but thank you for letting us know! I will be a little easier with mine now, sorry I had to learn from your mistakes! :)
