More Spring

Hi everybody! Thank you for your sweet Birthday wishes! March is a month with many birthdays and April, too! Yesterday was my husband's, next is our nephew and then my Dad....
But now to a card! I had this beautiful stamp sitting in my desk for a while without inking it up and it screamed spring! So I did some coloring on Kraft for the Hero Arts Spring Challenge:

I first tried another technique, but it didn't work! I read somewhere that it works to color the stamp with copics and then mist it with the copics blending solution. So I sat there and colored my tree with various colors which took me quite a while! I then misted it with the blender and stamped. No good. Splotchy. And I feared I ruined my stamp. But I got rid of the color with more blender. No harm done. Has anyone else tried this? It sounded very promising to me... Maybe I just did something wrong!

Next week will be my Day on the Hero Arts blog!! I am so excited and hope you'll like my projects!

Have a fabulous day and thanks for visiting!

Hugs,
Vanessa

Vanessa -love the colours on the kraft card on this one.... pity about the Copics - I had heard that you could do this as well... but as i only have a few Copics I haven't tried it.
BTW - my prize has arrived. Thank you so much - all those papers are just lovely as is your card & ATC.

Next week is your day on the HA blog? Soooo excited for you! Love your card! that tree rocks! Hmm no copics here but could you have used Staz on cleaner to have cleaned off the stamp? I find that stuff works on everything!

This is just lovely, Vanessa! Perfect coloring. You have to experiment to get better, RIGHT? That's what I think. I am so looking forward to your day on the Hero Arts blog. I know it will be the BEST!

Love the Coloring. It's so bright! What Coloring is it instead of the Copics?
Interesting zechnique with the Copics, never heard of it.

Vanessa, this beautiful. I love how you've coloured it.

I have this stamp - still uninked...

btw I've heard you shouldn't use alcohol based colours on rubber. It can eat into the rubber and spoil your stamp.

I haven't ventured into the world of Copics, just yet, but whatever you did with this card - I think it's fabulous! What fun, first of all! This image is DARLING and I love it on Kraft with all of that delicious color! You ROCK! That's what I say! Delightful work!

Gorgeous card! I love all the colours!
I haven't ventured there myself yet but i heard if you colour on the stamp then mist with rubbing alcohol since copics are alcohol based it might work better!
