Fun With Dies And Colors

I just finished a card having fun with dies and colors. I made this for the Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge using the inspirational photo and for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge Die Crazy. Here is the photo I was talking about:

And here is my card:

I first created my watercolor background using the simple wet-on-wet technique with Mowed Lawn and Mustard Seed Distress Inks. Then I die-cut the words and the ampersand and covered them with black glitter embossing powder. The ballon is a stamp from the Party Pals set. It is heat-embossed with the same embossing powder and colored with Dusty Concord Distress Ink using a mini ink blending tool.
So fun and easy to do…
Find Paper Smooches here and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog here. Thanks for visiting!

Vanessa

supplies:
Paper Smooches dies + stamp - Ranger Distress Inks - Judi Kins embossing powder
