Die-cut and Dipped

Today's card is featuring die-cut and dipped balloons. I made this for the second challenge of The Cutting Edge and Virginia's View Challenge

Such a gorgeous inspiration photo! Love all the color here! This is my take:

All my dies are Simon Says Stamp Exclusives. I die-cut the balloons and inked the bottom parts with my Versamark ink pad first, then I heat-embossed them with gold embossing powder. Then I mixed various distress inks with water and dipped the top parts of the balloons into the ink. The sentiment is die-cut from gold foiled cardstock.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Vanessa

supplies:
Simon Says Stamp dies - Ranger Distress Ink - American Crafts embossing powder - Lawn Fawn stamps - My Mind's Eye enamel dots
