A Paper-Pieced Cupcake

I made this card with a paper-pieced cupcake for the Mama Elephant and Me September challenge a while ago and almost forgot to share it. So here it is

It is difficult to see on the photo, but every layer is paper-pieced. For the top, I used watercolor paper, stamped the top thrice, inked every layer with a different color of Distress Ink, fussy-cut them and assembled them. The bottom part is a mix of two different stamps, the wrapper is stamped on pp and cut-out and the bow is from another bottom stamp, inked and then cut-out to be added to the pp one. I hope that is not too confusing! The cupcake parts are from Carnival Cupcakes and the sentiment is from  Type It. Have a great day everybody and thanks for visiting!

supplies:
Mama Elephant Carnival Cupcakes, Type It stamp sets - Crate Paper pp - Tsukineko ink - Ranger Distress Inks - Pretty Pink Posh sequins - MFT border die
