Last night, I enjoyed playing with my Lawn Fawn stamps to create a one layer card for the new Lawnscaping Challenge. And it fits the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge.
I did a lot of masking here. Plenty of fussy cutting, but I enjoyed it tremendously and love how it turned out:
To create this card, I die-cut a circle from a piece of scrap paper and used it as a mask on my watercolor paper card base. I stamped the fox first, masked it, stamped the bear and the skunk, masked them and stamped the other critters. After I had masked them all, I inked my background with Stormy Sky Distress Ink and stamped the trees. Then I removed the masks from the animals and colored them with water and Distress Inks. Now I removed the circle mask, too, masked the fox once again and stamped the string and the balloon. I colored the balloon with Festive Berries Distress Ink and applied Wink of Stella for some shine. To finish the card off, I adhered those tiny stars. I hope you like it! Here comes a close-up:
Thanks for visiting!
