It's day 3 of the winnie & walter october premieres and today we'll introduce you to another wonderful addition to the winnie & walter product family: Cutaways. I've been dreaming of dies of the popular The Big, the Bold words and now this dream came true! They cut perfectly and you'll find me using them all over my projects in the near future!
Today, I have two cards for you:
These gorgeous poinsettias are from the new set Happy Christmas. I masked a strip of the watercolor paper and stamped the poinsettias (masking some to layer them). Then I used Distress Inks mixed with water and colored the flowers with a brush. After they were dried, I applied drops of gold spray ink. Now I removed my mask and added a thin strip of gold foil card stock to the top edge of the masked area. I stamped the merry from The Big, the Bold, and the Merry and adhered the christmas die-cut that I had cut from gold foil card stock.
For the second card, I used the pinecones and branches from Winter Woodland. They are stamped with Distress Inks spritzed with water. Then I cut them out to adhere the elements with foam tape. The sentiment is from The Big, the Bold, and the Merry. I heat-embossed it using white embossing powder.
Do you love what you see? I can't wait to see what the other designers did, the possibilities are endless! Now hop to the winnie & walter blog to find more samples and enter all the giveaways! The Big Giveaway is here, day 1 here, day 2 here. Good luck and I hope you'll come back tomorrow for the final premieres! Thanks for visiting!
