Another Cute Snowman

I just can't resist them, so here comes another cute snowman on a christmas card. I'll enter it to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "Anything Goes" and it fits perfectly, because they are showcasing Lawn Fawn products this week!

I took some photos while making this card to show you the process. I quite like the idea, I hope to do this more often although the quality of the photos is not the best with artificial light in the evenings:

(1.) First, I die-cut a cardstock panel using the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangles die. Then I stamped the snowman from making frosty friends using a light blue dye ink. Only inking his nose and eyes, I stamped him again using black dye ink. Then I stamped the arms.
(2.) Now I stamped the bulb and the bow from joy to the woods and drew a string with a black thin marker. Then I colored everything using Copic markers. For the shadows on his edges, I used light blue and light grey marker and blended everything with the Colorless Blender.
(3.) I cut out masks for the snowman and the bulb from sticky notes and adhered them over the stamped images. Using various blue Distress Inks, I inked the sky.
(4.) Then I die-cut another panel from cardstock using the same rectangle die. To create a snowy hill, I used the speech bubble die and trimmed the rectangle. Finally, I stamped my sentiment,  assembled the card and applied Glossy Accents onto the bulb.

I hope you like it! Thanks for looking!

Vanessa
