Hi everybody! Today I have a Penny Black card to share. I used the adorable set "cool chicks" for it:
I started with a panel of watercolor paper that I trimmed slightly smaller than the cardbase. Using painter's tape, I masked the edges of the panel. Then I softly inked the bottom area with a mini ink blending tool and Distress Ink. On the top part of the panel, I applied ink using the "dotlets" stencil. Now I removed the tape and stamped the sentiment from "special wishes" and adhered the panel to the card. I stamped the girl with the dog onto white cardstock and colored the image with Copic markers. Then I cut it out and adhered it to the card using foam tape.
I hope you like it! Check out the Simplicity blog and the Penny Black blog for more inspiration!
Thanks for visiting!
