Masking With Dies (Video)

Hello! I finally finished the promised video on a fun masking technique. I created my own masks with dies and wanted to share this with you, because you can use a lot of fun inking techniques with this, even really wet watercolor techniques without the fear of bleeding ink under the masks.

Here are two different cards I made:

I used the big word dies from Winnie & Walter here, but you can use this technique for more delicate dies, too. One sample is THIS CARD. So many possibilities! Just have fun and play around.

Here comes my video. Or watch it on YouTube.

I hope you enjoy!

Because I created my own backgrounds, I'll enter these cards to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "MAKE YOUR OWN BACKGROUND".
Thanks for visiting!

That is brilliant! I just got a die cutting machine and have a few word dies. I will have to try this out.
