Hello and happy first of April! I am sure I am not the only one waiting for Spring to arrive. I thought it was here, but the last two days have been VERY stormy and today started with a bit of snow. Really? So, our new Sparkle & Shine Challenge is perfect to find some inspiration for a beautiful Spring creation. Look at this:
Our amazing sponsor is Pretty Pink Posh:
And this is the card I created inspired by the lovely photo:
I first die-cut a rectangle from chevron patterned paper and adhered it to the card. Then I die-cut a smaller rectangle from watercolor paper and applied drops of Distress Ink to it. After it was dried, I applied more ink with an ink blending tool and adhered the rectangle to the card with foam tape. Now I stamped the bunny onto cardstock and colored it with Copics. I fussy-cut it and adhered it with foam tape. I stamped the Hello onto a strip of black cardstock and heat-embossed it using white embossing powder. After I had adhered the trimmed sentiment to the card, I finished it off with sequins.
I hope you'll play, can't wait to see your take! Thanks for visiting!
Vanessa

I really like how you created the background. The fun extension of color with the sequins really draws the eye through the card. Really great design.
