Today, Winnie & Walter has teamed up with Pinkfresh Studio to celebrate {inter}National Scrapbook Day, hosting many fun challenges for you! I created samples for the challenge "create your own background". I wish I had the time to create a layout, but it is a card instead. Here comes my take:
I started with a white cardbase and inked the front with various Distress Inks and my ink blending tool. Then I trimmed a piece of patterned paper from the Pinkfresh Studio collection "Up in the Clouds" and die-cut the hello from it repeatedly. Now I adhered the panel to the card. I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered this, too. Finally I added sequins.
I didn't want to waste the die-cuts, so I created a second card with them:
Here I adhered the hellos to another panel of pp that I die-cut using Essentials: Katharine cutaways, then I layered it with another panel of pink pp and adhered it to the card. I tied twine to one of the cute wood labels and adhered the label to the card. Again, I finished the card off with sequins.
I hope you like my samples! Now it is time to hop to the Winnie & Walter blog to check out all the fun challenges and find even more on the Pinkfresh Studio blog! There are fun prizes to be won!
Happy creating and thanks for visiting!
Vanessa
