I thought it would be fun to join the MFT Summer School on their blog. The first lesson is about Composition: The Rule of Thirds. I have to admit, I usually don't think about the rule of thirds and just arrange my card as it pleases my eye, but this time I did:
I used the rule on the background and for placing my focus element. This card is a happy little accident (saying this in my happiest Bob Ross voice), because I messed up her face. I had stamped and masked the girl and one balloon, had inked my background and stamped the sentiment. Then I removed my masks and started coloring her with Copics. Everything was fine, but then the ink on the face smeared! I had stamped her twice for a better black outline and obviously the ink on her eyes wasn't dry yet. So I had to think. This is the result. Two more balloons and I am happy about my accident, because the card is a lot funnier this way. Don't you think?
Thanks for visiting!

Love it! Fits perfectly.
Gorgeous. I love your accident. Before I read t reason it was like that, I thought how inventive to do that with the sentiment!
