Hello hello! I am thrilled to be a Guest Designer for the MFT Challenge Blog once again this month! It's making this crafty girl giddy with excitement to be designing for My Favorite Things :)
Today's card is my take on this week's sketch:
Here is what I came up with:
First, I die-cut the stitched rectangle (Die-namics Blueprints 29) from blue patterned paper (Tiny Hearts Brights Paper Pack) and adhered it to my blue card base. Then I created the frame, die-cutting the Tri-window frame from Blueprints 29 twice and cutting it into halves. I filled the windows with blue cardstock and adhered the piece to the card. Now I stamped the cute dogs from Canine Companions, the heart from Lucky and the bone from Lucky Dog onto white cardstock, colored everything with Copics and die-cut the images with the matching dies. After I had adhered the cuties, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of blue cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it with foam tape.
Is this new release amazing or what? Love the adorable sets! Now be sure to hop to the MFT Challenge Blog for more takes on this sketch and to enter yours for your chance to win a gift card worth $50 to the MFT Store!
Thanks for stopping by!
