Winnie & Walter Share the Love Featuring: Essentials by Ellen

Hello and welcome to the Winnie & Walter Share the Love Week Featuring Essentials by Ellen. We have been sharing projects mixing Winnie & Walter with Essentials by Ellen all week long, combining this with fun challenges. Today's challenge is a mood board challenge. This is the gorgeous mood board to play with:

And here is my take on it:

I was inspired by the darling bird image, the stripes of the dress, the gold elements and the watercolors on the mood board. First, I covered a card base with patterned paper. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the flowers from In Bloom: Addie's Garden, colored them with watercolors, fussy-cut them and adhered them to the card. I die-cut "wonderful" from Essentials by Ellen from pink cardstock and fun foam, layered them and adhered the word above the flowers. I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from Totally Awesome onto a strip of gold foiled cardstock and adhered it. Then I stamped the cute bird from LS Exclusives: So Tweet with Evelin T Designs onto watercolor paper, colored it with watercolors, fussy-cut it and adhered it to the gold strip with foam tape. Then I finished the card off with gold sequins.

I hope you like my take on the mood board and that you'll join us for the fun challenges for your chance to win great prizes! Find all the posts for this Share the Love Week here.

Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge

Hello everybody! I am very honored to be one of the Guest Designers for the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge this month. The Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge is a monthly inspirational challenge based on a Pinterest Inspired photo that is located on the CLASSroom blog. A random challenge participant will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Ellen Hutson store. And the inspiration photo is so beautiful! Take a look at this:

Don't you love the gorgeous color combo? Here comes my take:

I used the wonderful Designer Dies, Wild Garden by Julie Ebersole and the stamp set Bohemian Garden by Julie Ebersole. First, I created a soft watercolor wash on a panel of watercolor paper and die-cut a rectangle window from it. Then I adhered the frame to a card base made from watercolor paper. Now I applied drops of black and gold ink. I die-cut flowers and leaves from cardstock, glitter cardstock and the scrap from the watercolor panel, stamped some flowers and heat-embossed them with gold embossing powder, cut these out and arranged everything on the card. After I had adhered the elements, I stamped the "Always" and finished the card off with sequins.

The stamps and dies were so fun to work with! And I had no idea that they come in a clear bag to store them in. Perfect!!

I hope you will join us for this challenge! All you have to do, is create a new project using Essentials by Ellen products and the inspiration photo. Find all the details here on the CLASSroom blog.

Thank you for stopping by!
