WCMD Winner Blog Hop

Hello and Welcome to the WCMD Winner Blog Hop! I am glad you are stopping by! Today, all the lucky winners of Paper Crafts' World Card Making Day 2011 contest will share a new card with you and you will get the chance to win amazing prizes from every designer along the hop! 


But first the card. My winning card is a birthday card for the 4th birthday of a little boy using October Afternoon's Rocket Age collection. I decided to stay with the design and manufacturer and created a card for the 3rd birthday of a little girl using the Sidewalks collection this time:

Two Years of Blogging - time to celebrate with a giveaway!

Happy Tuesday to you and Happy 2nd Blogoversary to me! I can't tell how much I appreciate all of you, so thank you so much for your support!!! Today I am having a giveaway for you :

It's not the ranunculus, they are already withered now, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to have a nice photo in my post. I don't have a pic of the giveaway, because I didn't have time for that yet. But it will be a box full of new stamps (Hero Arts, Unity, Imaginisce), Stickers (SEI, Glitz Design, SRM), Paper (Cosmo Cricket, My Little Shoebox, October Afternoon, GCD Studios etc), Chipboard (Cosmo Cricket, Tattered Angels etc.) and various Embellishments (Buttons, Ribbon, Flowers etc.). Who knows what else will find its way into the box - it will depend on how many of you are interested in my giveaway!

Ok, now to a card. I've seen many cards posted that weren't accepted for the latest Paper Crafts call. I didn't have much time to make a lot for the call, but I am honored to have some accepted. But this one didn't make it, so I thought I'd share it here. I used sketch 76:

Yummy October Afternoon! Love that cute image of the little girl. Oh, and how about another adorable girl? I had to make another costume for Alyssa, because the little sheep lost too much "wool" and she needed one for the festivities in Kindergarten. She wanted to be a bug, so I made her this ladybug costume:

A quick tutu made from tulle strips, a black pair of tights with some antennae and wings made from fun foam:

It took me less than an hour, a tiny budget and I love the result :)
