Hero Arts Flower

Hi and Happy Wednesday! Hero Arts` monthly challenge theme for February is "Flowers and St. Patrick`s Day". I had some fun coloring flowers from their digi kits and here is one of them:

Bad photo, I hope the light is better today so I can replace this! The tulip is from the kit "Botanical Tulips" available at 2Peas and it's colored with markers. I love to create backgrounds with the "Old Letter Writing" woodblock stamp - everytime I try to decide about a background I seem to end up with this stamp!

We had a little drama here yesterday and went to the ER. While playing and frolicing around (I hope this is the correct expression!) on our bed my little girl somehow twisted her arm and started crying and holding it. She calmed down after a while, but refused to move her arm and didn`t want us to touch it. In the ER they told us that this is a common injury (don`t ask me about the details, I am not able to explain that in English...) with little ones and that we should wait till the next day to see if she still refuses to use her arm. I was so upset all night and couldn`t wait for the morning to come to see if everything is back to normal! And I am so so relieved that everything is back to normal!

Today is the last day to enter my second blogcandy. I`ll be back tomorrow with the winner and the next candy! Have a wonderful, dramafree day!

Hugs,
Vanessa

Poor Vanessa... it is worrying when little ones do these things. As my daughter was growing we made numerous trips to A&E ( same as ER) she was forever hurting things... but glad all is well now. Your card is totally stunning. Like you I really like the Old Letter writing or the French letter writing as a background. Take care

Well, Vanessa if your daughter is anything like mine that won't be your last trip to the hospital! :o)Glad to hear she is okay.

I love the deep red shade you've achieved on the poppy. I too use my Old Letter Writing stamp a lot.

Oops, it sent out before I was done...I'm so sorry to hear about your little one. I know doctors always say it's common, but somehow that doesn't always ease our minds as mommies. :-)

Oh, honey! I'm so sorry to hear about your sweet lil' one! My girl had something similar happen when she was a tiny one, they called it "nurse maiden's elbow..." We hit the ER and the whole shebang! She was balling the entire time {I think she was about 13 mos. or so...}, just until they took xrays and then the movement they did with her arm popped everything back in. The pediatrician explained that it could happen again, and that we should just take her hand as if to "shake hands" and then support the elbow with your other hand... All better! I only had to do it once more... no ER trip necessary! Anywhooo, sorry for all of that! I hope I wasn't over-winded... {HA!}

Meanwhile! {*embarrassment kicking in!} GREAT CARD, darlin'! I love the way you add a smattering of BLING to punctuate your gorgeous work - FANTASTIC!

Hope all is well with you and your wee-daughter! You are definitely earning your "mom" stripes!
