Caardvarks - Photo Inspiration Challenge

Happy Friday! Today started a new Caardvarks Challenge and I was inspired immediately! First, my card:

And here is the beautiful image for the "Photo Inspiration Challenge":

Gorgeous, isn`t it? I will make some more cards for sure, it`s so inspiring and the prize for this challenge is adorable! I used the birdcage from the Hero Arts Digi Kit "And Your Bird Can Sing". Love it!
Now a question for all the amazing Mums out there! My sweet friend (you know that I mean you, girl!) and I wondered how all the fabulous designers having a lot of children get their things done? I only have one little girl and she is not very cooperative - you`ll see what I mean here:

Cute and helpful, vacuumcleaning with Mommy. But obviously cleaning one room has to be enough, because five minutes later...

Really, nothing happened between the two photos. She only decided she wants to play with me or wants to be carried. Any helpful tips? I admire every woman with two or more kids!

Have a fabulous day and thanks for visiting!

Hugs,
Vanessa

Cardstock: (Spring Moss, Berry Sorbet) Papertrey Ink, Patterned Paper: Prima Marketing, Papertrey Ink, Digital Kit: (And Your Bird Can Sing) Hero Arts, available at 2Peas, Stamp:(Messages) Hero Arts, Pearls: Hero Arts

Vanessa, adore your card. Love the pics of your cutie.... I soooo remember that stage in my DS's lives...... at 6 and nearly 8 it does pass!!!! My youngest is currently building lego as I craft/blog hop! and is very happily playing. My housework still needs to be done today!! LOL!!!

She's soooo cute with that crying face!! I have 3 kids all 2.5 years apart from each other.... I would set up an activity for them when I would have to clean and tell them when I'm finished we could play....when they would cry I would ignore them...my youngest would attach himself to my leg while I cleaned but I stayed firm and eventually they accepted it. ;)
I LOVE your card!!

Gorgeous card, Vanessa! Love the challenge this time...hope I can play! I am mother to two dds (11 & 4 year old) and have yet to figure out the perfect balancing act! I usually have to do my work while the kiddos are at school, but prior to them starting Kindergarten I just had to work when I could (usually at night). I also involve them in the stamping process by having them sit with me at my craft table. It's tough getting it all in, but us moms understand when the little ones need out attention. Just relax & know that you are doing just fine!! It does get easier as they get older!!

Love your card, Vanessa! Beautiful background!

I have no tips for you except try to look at the big picture and then stand firm with what you decide. All kids' middle names are "test mommy"!

Great card, Vanessa!!

You little girl is adorable :) I think what some of the ladies have suggested is the way to go. Choose what's best for the situation and be firm :)

Lovely card Vanessa and your little girl is so cute. Make the most of this time, they grow up all to quickly. My son is 25 next month and my daughter 22 and it seems like only yesterday they were toddlers.

This card is absolutely Fabulous Vanessa!! I love the pink butterflies and the cute little bow that you added to it.

I am a mom of 3 (my oldest will be 6 this month) and honestly I don't know how I accomplish what I do during the day. I do have a cleaning schedule so that I don't feel like I need to clean every aspect of my home every day. There are many days that I do feel like I am just cleaning up and taking care of my family all day and then I get a chance to sit and scrap some at night after they go to bed....sometimes I am up until the wee morning hours and I don't get a whole lot of sleep, but I did get some much needed "me" time in.

:) ... oh my goodness... she is adorable Vanessa! I can be of no help to you there!! I still can't figure out how to get any cleaning done without a 'helper' who is not so helpfu! :)

Oh... and your card.... wow!!! Love it!!

Oh bless her, what a lovely little one you have. Don't have any helpful advice. I have two boys and whenever I tried to clean a room they were trashing another one, just remember she will grow out of it! Really love your card, its very pretty. Tracey x

Your card is beautiful, love all those sweet pink butterflies! And your daughter is just precious! I've got two, but one is in school now. My daughter is really big on helping (sometimes a wee too helpful, if you know what I mean! :> lol) and I try to keep her involved........but, that also means everything goes slower. But, they're only little for so long and grow so incredibly fast! And if you discover how some of the fabulous women in this creative blogland get it all done, please do share! :>

Love your card, Vanessa! Perfect inspiration from the photo! I don't know how you create your amazing cards and still spend quality time with your little one! They do grow up so fast, though, so enjoy her while you can! Maybe she'll grow to love stamping, too...

I thought I was the only one out there who didn't have 'co-operative kids!' I have two pre-schoolers and its hard. I've heard it will pass. Sometimes, I stamp an image on scrap paper and have them color with pencils or crayons. Sometimes, I have them play in the room I'm crafting. I try to be creative in my offerings to them! Beautiful card!

Your sweetie is so adorable even with the crying face! I have two dd... 3&7, they can be hand full most of the time. I normally wait until they go to bed and then I make card, or I will give them some cute stamps and papers for them to make cards right next to me! :) I hope this help!

Have a beautiful weekend!

wow, I really love your card: it is absolutely beautiful!

A few weeks ago I saw a blog (and I really try to remember it`s name) where women exchanged there tips how to clean a house in 15 minutes, respectively how to make husbands think that the wife cleaned the house the whole day, although she stamped and crafted *ggg*
REally inspiring ;)

But isn't that a fact we all know: Crafting people have tons of creative ideas... not only regarding stamping etc... *gg*

Wishing you a great weekend,
Gabriele

Viel erfolg.

Johanna

How could that sweet little girl be so upset when she has the MOST creative mom - ever! Holy moly! {I'd just hug her and never put her down! -hee hee And I'm saying that only because mine are too big to do that now!}

Your card is SIMPLY stunning! I'm all a twitter! GORGEOUS!

Hi Vanessa, Firstly your card is fantastic. Your Dd is just a sweetheart :D. I too have a "helper" that likes to be involved in everything or wants me to play with her all the time. Em can be a handful some days (more so when I'm really tired). I try to balance what we do together by trying to get her to do somethings by herself. Not so successfully I might add. I guess it's a case of you win some you lose a lot ;). Just keep your chin up & remember you are not the only one going through this. Have a great week & good luck with both challenges xoxoxoxoxoxo
