Hello! It is time again for another inspiring Paper Crafts Blog Hop! Today we are celebrating the milestone issue Card Creations: Volume 10:

What a beautiful cover! This is a must-have magazine! It is available here. And you will be able to win it, too! But we'll come to that later. First, it is all about 10. In honor of this 10th issue, I have decided to create a birthday card set of 10 cards:

First, the packaging. I used two clear boxes my PTI stamps came in, trimmed off the tops, assembled them and embellished them. To close my box, I created a lid from matching patterned paper.

Now, let's open it:

I made five cards with a "cooler" look and five cards with a "prettier/feminine" look and they are separated by those two assembled boxes.

For the cards, I used one design, but two different paper collections from Crate and it worked really well. First the feminine cards using the Pretty Party collection:

Simple doesn't mean boring, so I tried to add more dimension with foam tape behind the pretty elements. The background stamp is from Hero Arts for Studio Calico and it is so versatile! Different ink makes it look completely different every time. Here come the "cooler" cards, using the Storyteller collection:

The background looks completely different here, doesn't it? Here are all the cards in one picture:

I think this set would be a great gift for Mother's Day. Ok. Now to the giveaway details! Just leave a comment on this post and you will be eligible to win a brand new copy of the Card Creations: Volume 10 issue! All comments must be received Tuesday, May 15th at 5 pm MDT. And be sure to stop by the Paper Crafts Connection blog to win even more amazing prizes!

Finally, hop on to the other Designers' blogs:

4) Vanessa Menhorn       you are here :o)

Thank you for visiting, happy hopping and good luck with the giveaways!!! (btw, you'll find my own current giveaway on the right top sidebar!)

Great idea for a gift. Doing something in assembly-line fashion makes things go so much faster. And the cards don't look like that was how they were made.

What a wonderful set of cards. The box is clever too. Even though you used some of the elements each time the skill of the emblishments made each card different and unique. Thanks for sharing your creativity.

Love your card sets! I made a few sets of cards (in German) when we traveled to Europe and stayed with friends and family. Each "host" received a set of cards--from Birthday, Anniversary, get well, thinking of you--all in German. The recipients thought they were great and thought it was a super cool gift.
