Remember this PERFECT MOMENT

Aah, can you believe it? It is me, Vanessa! We are lucky enough to not live close to a big river, so we haven't been drowned. My thoughts are with those affected by the worst floods Germany has been dealing with since 1501. And it is not over yet. Fortunately, the weather has changed and the rain stopped. I feared it would never stop. They said that it rained about 637 l/sqm in four days, compared to usually 205 l/sqm in a "normal" whole month of May. 
Our garden seems to be ok with all the water. The cucumber plants looked good yesterday morning while there was no sun outside. In the afternoon I checked them again, but they saw the sun and dropped dead immediately. Who can blame them? I know, those are very unimportant things - but I thought it was interesting :)
Oh, and I have a layout to share. I was working on cards for a secret call, so I am not able to share those yet, but I am sure a lot of them won't get accepted and I'll have plenty to share next week! For now, here comes a layout:

Aah, könnt Ihr es glauben? Ich bins, Vanessa! Wir wohnen glücklicherweise nicht nahe an einem grossen Fluss, also sind wir hier nicht abgesoffen. Meine Gedanken sind bei denjenigen, die vom schlimmen Hochwasser betroffen sind.
Hier scheint alles ok zu sein, sogar der Garten kam gut mit den Wassermassen zurecht. Naja, gestern früh hatte ich nach meinen Gurkenpflanzen gesehen (da wars noch bewölkt) und sie sahen gut aus. Als ich dann aber am Nachmittag nach ihnen gesehen habe, haben sie den Sonnenschein nicht verkraftet und sind auf der Stelle tot umgefallen. Kann ich ihnen nicht übel nehmen. Ich weiss, das ist nix Wichtiges, aber ich fand es irgendwie interessant :)
Oh, und ich habe ein Layout zum Zeigen. Ich hatte die ganze Zeit an Karten für einen geheimen Call gearbeitet, also kann ich davon noch nix zeigen, aber ich bin mir sicher, dass davon ganz viele nicht akzeptiert werden und ich dann nächste Woche viel zum posten hab! Für jetzt dieses Layout:

I hid the journaling behind the photo. I don't like my handwriting, so I tend to do this. Most supplies are from American Crafts, a lot of them are from my May SC kit.

Ich habe das Journaling hinter dem Foto versteckt. Da ich meine Handschrift nicht mag, tendiere ich dazu. Die meissten Materialien sind von American Crafts, viele davon waren in meinem SC Mai Kit.
