Welcome back on the second day of the winnie & walter October release! Today's cards are very wintery/snowy. Let's get started right away. Here is the first card:
This card uses Winter Woodland and the stencil Scenery: Big Bang Classic Star Creative Screenings. I started with a panel of watercolor paper and used the stencil with embossing paste. After the paste was dry, I applied drops of various inks. After these were dried, I used my ink blending tool and applied blue and purple Distress Inks. Then I stamped and heat-embossed the deer with black embossing powder. I die-cut a snowy hill from card stock and stamped the sentiment. To finish the card off, I adhered some blue and clear sequins to the sky.
For this one, I stamped and heat-embossed the large tree from Winter Woodland using white embossing powder. Then I stamped and heat-embossed the snowflakes from Scenery: Big Bang Flurries on vellum and adhered it over the card base. The peace word is one of the new Cutaways dies (premiering tomorrow), I die-cut it from silver foil card stock. And one last card for today:
On this card, I used Mini Scenery: Into the Woods. I stamped it to the top part using grey ink. Love this stamp! Then I just stamped the sentiment from Winter Woodland with the same ink and adhered the red bird with foam tape. This bird is die-cut using the "A Tree for All Seasons" digi files, but you'll find a similar one in the new Winter Woodland digi kit.
So, that's it for today. I hope you like the cards! Now it's time to hop to the winnie & walter blog to see what everybody created. So much eye candy! Be sure to enter our BIG GIVEAWAY here and don't miss yesterday's post here. Tomorrow I'll be back with the next batch of cards! Thank you so much for visiting today!!
