Winnie & Walter Rerun: Sparkle

Hey sweet friends! I am back with a card for the new Winnie & Walter Rerun Challenge. This month, we'll feature Sparkle. A sweet little set, but oh so versatile! I combined it with Sugar Rush on my card:

First, I trimmed a panel of cardstock slightly smaller than my pink card base. I stamped and masked the cake and applied blue ink with an ink blending tool. After adding tiny drops of ink, I removed the mask and colored the cake. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the sparklers, using silver embossing powder for the sticks and gold glitter embossing powder for the stars. Then I stamped more star circles with various colors for a color explosion. I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment and adhered the panel to the card. Now I stamped and heat-embossed the rays onto vellum, punched them out with a circle punch and adhered them with foam tape. I finished the card off with rhinestones that I put into the center of the circles.
