Hi everybody! I am fed up with snow and winter and -15°C! I want spring. I want flowers. I want butterflies instead of snowflakes. So I was in the mood to create cards with floral stamps. Like this one from Penny Black:
I stamped the image with Versamark ink onto a panel of watercolor paper and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. Now I colored the flowers and leaves with Inktense Pencils and water. After everything was dried, I fussy-cut the image and adhered it to a Kraft cardbase. I die-cut the sentiment from gold foiled cardstock and adhered it. Finally, I added gold and pink sequins.
There, flowers are so much better than snow! I hope you are staying warm in your part of the world! Thanks for stopping by!

Absolutely gorgeous Vanessa! I love the soft colors on the kraft paper with the pop of gold. Boy oh boy do you have patience to fussy cut that intricate flower out. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.
