So, here we are. Last day of September, first day of the first cold this fall :(

These are simple little books made from one sheet of a 12x12 paper. Perfect to add some photos and give to a grandparent or Dad or uncle/aunt to carry in their pocket. I used the Hello December line again. Thanks for visiting!

Dies hier sind einfache kleine Büchlein, die aus jeweils einem Blatt eines 12x12 Papiers gemacht sind. Perfekt um ein paar Fotos einzukleben und einem Grosselternteil oder einem Papa, Onkel oder Tante zu schenken, die es dann einfach in der Tasche mit sich herumtragen können. Guest Designer for pinkfresh studio

Some time ago, Kinnari from pinkfresh studio asked me if I'd like to work with some of her products. Sweet washi and enamel embellishments. I loved using them! Here are the cards that I made for her:

Vor einiger Zeit fragte mich Kinnari von pinkfresh studio, ob ich gerne mal mit ein paar Ihrer Produkte arbeiten wollen würde. Tolles Washi und lackierte Verzierungen. Natürlich hab ich sie sehr gerne verwendet! Hier sind die Karten, die ich für sie gemacht habe:

On the first two cards, I wanted to showcase the wide washi and keep it very simple. This drop on the second card looks like a brad, but it is not! Love these, they have a foam adhesive on the back and you can easily put them on your projects.

Auf den ersten beiden Karten wollte ich das breite Washi in den Vordergrund stellen und dabei alles sehr einfach gestalten. Dieser Punkt auf der zweiten Karte sieht aus wie ein Brad, ist es aber nicht! Die finde ich echt toll, sie haben Schaumstoffklebepads auf der Rückseite und man kann sie ganz einfach auf jedem Projekt aufbringen.

On the next card, I covered some wood veneer hearts with washi. It is easy if you choose a shape that's not too intricate. Just fussy-cut around the shape and use sanding paper to clean the edges. And how cute are these enamel hearts?

Auf der nächsten Karte habe ich ein paar Holzherzen mit Washi überzogen. Das geht ganz einfach, wenn man nicht zu verwinkelte Formen wählt. Man schneidet nur überschüssiges ab und säubert die Kanten dann mit einer Feile oder Sandpapier. Und wie niedlich sind diese Lackherzen?

On the last card, I used one of the lovely enamel frames. They would be perfect for any scrapbook layout. 

Auf der letzten Karte habe ich einen der wunderschönen lackierten Rahmen genommen. Sie würden sich super für jedes Scrapbook Layout eignen.

Another Card Using Glitz Design

Here I just arranged various stickers from the collection and stamped a sentiment. The center element is adhered with foam tape to give more dimension.

LOVE - Inspired By Wilna

Another love themed card using Finnley. I loved Wilna's unusually colorful layout here and was inspired immediately to make this:

Noch eine Liebes-bezogene Karte mit der Finnley Serie. Ich fand Wilnas aussergewöhnlich farbenfrohes Layout hier sehr toll und war total inspiriert das hier zu machen:

Instead of using Gesso on the background, I stamped and heat-embossed a Hero Arts stamp. I loved the little tag with the gold on the bottom of Wilna's layout, so I created one with another HA stamp and gold heat-embossing powder. Wilna is a genius, and I can't wait to meet her IRL very soon. Lucky me!

Statt Gesso im Hintergrund zu verstempeln, habe ich mit einem Hero Arts Stempel embossed. Ich fand den Anhänger unter dem Foto auf Wilnas Layout so toll, deshalb habe ich mein eigenes mit einem anderen HA Stempel und goldenem Embossing gemacht. Wilna ist genial und ich kanns nicht abwarten, sie bald im ganz richtigen, echten Leben zu treffen. Ich Glückspilz!

Gift Card Holder

Back on a rainy day. Time for another christmas card! This time I made a gift card holder:

Zurück an diesem verregneten Tag. Es wird Zeit für eine weitere Weihnachtskarte! Dieses Mal hab ich eine Gutscheinkarte gemacht:

I used a small embossing folder on the little envelope and rubbed some white ink onto the embossed area. Paper and rhinestones are from the MME Vintage Christmas collection.

A Short Break from Christmas

Today it has been a very enjoyable day for me so far. I've received new stamps and dies and had some time to just sit and happily stamp my little heart out. And summer is coming back for a few days. What else can I ask for :)
So I took a break from christmas cards and stamped this birthday card:

Heute war bislang ein sehr angenehmer Tag für mich. Ich habe neue Stempel und Stanzen erhalten und ein wenig Zeit gehabt, nach Herzenslust rumzustempeln. Und der Sommer kommt auch für ein paar Tage zurück. Was braucht man mehr :)
Also habe ich eine kleine Pause von Weihnachtskarten eingelegt und diese Geburtstagskarte gestempelt:

Love this balloon from Papertrey Ink. The whole set is adorable! Well, Maile is a genius.
