Hello everybody! I am very honored to be one of the Guest Designers for the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge this month. The Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge is a monthly inspirational challenge based on a Pinterest Inspired photo that is located on the CLASSroom blog. A random challenge participant will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Ellen Hutson store. And the inspiration photo is so beautiful! Take a look at this:
Don't you love the gorgeous color combo? Here comes my take:
I used the wonderful Designer Dies, Wild Garden by Julie Ebersole and the stamp set Bohemian Garden by Julie Ebersole. First, I created a soft watercolor wash on a panel of watercolor paper and die-cut a rectangle window from it. Then I adhered the frame to a card base made from watercolor paper. Now I applied drops of black and gold ink. I die-cut flowers and leaves from cardstock, glitter cardstock and the scrap from the watercolor panel, stamped some flowers and heat-embossed them with gold embossing powder, cut these out and arranged everything on the card. After I had adhered the elements, I stamped the "Always" and finished the card off with sequins.
The stamps and dies were so fun to work with! And I had no idea that they come in a clear bag to store them in. Perfect!!
I hope you will join us for this challenge! All you have to do, is create a new project using Essentials by Ellen products and the inspiration photo. Find all the details here on the CLASSroom blog.
Thank you for stopping by!
