Numbers Background

Hi there! Today I wanted to create a fun background with Distress Oxides and made a card for the current MFT The Birthday Project Challenge: You're How Old? and the SSS Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

Here comes the result:

I started with a panel of white cardstock, masked off a rectangle and inked it with various Distress Oxide inks. Then I die-cut numbers from a scrap of paper and used the negatives as a stencil. Now I applied white pigment ink through the Card-Sized Confetti Stencil, removed the mask and adhered the panel to the card base. I stamped the cute bunny and the balloon from BB Somebunny onto white cardstock, colored it with Copics, fussy-cut everything and adhered the images.

Then I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from LL Sweet Succulents onto a strip of purple cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it. Finally, I added tiny sequins.

Thank you for stopping by today! Hope to see you back soon :)

Cute Lawn Fawn Pop-up Box Baby Card

Happy weekend, fellow crafters! Our piano teacher became father of a sweet girl, so I had an excuse to make a cute baby card :) I played with my Lawn Fawn supplies to make a card for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge "What's the Weather".

I wanted to use happy rainbow colors, so this is what I came up with:

I first colored watercolor paper with various Distress Inks mixed with water to create the rainbow. Then I die-cut the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up and the rectangles from it and assembled the box.

I stamped the images from Hello Baby,  Gleeful Gardens and Little Bundle onto white cardstock, colored everything with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered them to the card. Finally, I die-cut the baby's name from watercolored paper with Cole's ABCs and adhered it to the front flap.

On this pic, you can see that I applied glitter to some images:

I so enjoyed creating this for a new little bundle! The best reason to make a card :)

Thank you for stopping by today!

More Projects Using the New MFT February Release

Happy Wednesday everyone! I am back with more projects using the New My Favorite Things February Release.

Here they are:

First up a shaker card using Super Cat with the City Block Die-namics. I love this uplifting sentiment!

Next up are these penguin cards:

The Party Penguins set is perfect for making quick cards without having to do a lot of coloring. And that Happy Birthday Blend set? It is so versatile, all the possibilities to play with colors!

For this one, I combined the penguins with the Tag Builder Blueprints 7 Die-namics. That banner is genius, it works so well!!

Ok, so one final card for today!

I had so much fun with this one :) Don't you love his heart-patterned outfit? And I enjoyed ink-blending this background!

I hope you like today's inspiration! Maybe one day I can stop creating with the new release :)

Thank you for stopping by!

My Favorite Things February Release Part II

Happy Friday, sweet friends! Today I am back with another card I made with new stamps from the My Favorite Things February Release.

The Birthday Bear & Friends set is perfect for someone like me - making birthday cards the most! I wanted to put as many of these adorable images onto the card as possible:

I first inked my white card base with light blue ink, using the Cloud Stencil. Then I die-cut the Grassy Hills Die-namics from white cardstock, colored it with Copics and adhered it. After I had stamped the sentiment, I die-cut a frame from blue patterned paper and adhered it to the card.

Now I stamped all the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card, using foam tape for some images.

I'd love to attend this party, how about you? Thanks for stopping by today!

My Favorite Things February Release Part I

Hello! I am glad you are stopping by today! As I mentioned yesterday, I made many more cards using the wonderful new MFT February Release. So here I am sharing another!

For this one, I played with the adorable Raccoon Cutie Die-namics:

Can it get any cuter? I started with a panel of white cardstock and inked it using red, pink and orange inks. Then I die-cut the rectangle from Zig-Zag Stitched Rectangles Stax from it and adhered this to the card base, raising the outer frame with foam tape. Now I die-cut the raccoon from grey, black and white cardstock, assembled it and adhered it to the card.

I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment from Birthday Bear & Friends onto a strip of black cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it. Finally, I added matching sequins.

This little fella sure makes me smile :) I hope you like him, too! Find the new Release here!

I'll be back with more projects, hope to see you soon here or on Instagram.

MFT & Friends February 2019 Release

Hello Friends! I am thrilled to be part of the MFT & Friends feature this month! Given that I use their stamps all the time, you might have guessed that My Favorite Things is one of my favorite companies and it makes me the happiest girl to get the chance to play with their wonderful new release. My little dreaming heart is dancing with glee ❤️

I'll show some of my projects today and more over this month, I didn't want you to get overwhelmed with too many pics in one post! It still is photo-heavy, so let's get started!

My first project is one of my beloved shadow box cards with a fun interactive element. I used the adorable set Spectacular Birthday. The little fella on its ball is able to actually balance on it, I'll be posting a video on Instagram if you'd like to check it out!

I combined the set with the patterned paper from the Sweet Celebration paper pad

The curtains are die-cut circles that I trimmed to look like a grand drape.

Up next is Super Cat! How fun is this new set?

I first inked the background of my card with light blue ink, using the Cloud Stencil. Then I die-cut the  City Block Die-namics from white cardstock, trimmed it, inked the edges and adhered it to the card.
For the colorful tail, I used the End of the Rainbow Die-namics. The images are colored with Copics, the sentiment is heat-embossed.

The last card for today is a shaker card:

This new Birthday Cake Die-namics is such a versatile, fun die! Here I first created a shaker box with the Blueprints 29 Die-namics and paper from the Sweet Celebration Paper Pack. The sentiment from Birthday Bear & Friends goes perfectly with the cake die-namics! Then I die-cut the cake elements from white cardstock, colored them with Copics and adhered them to the card.

I hope to have inspired you today! These new products totally inspired me! I have been producing plenty of cards and I am not done yet :) If you'd like to see the rest of my crafting frenzy, please come back or meet me on Instagram, I'd love for you to stop by!

Now, all I can say is happy shopping! Find all of the new release hereThanks again to My Favorite Things for having me, I couldn't be more excited!
