Tag It

This week's challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog is Tag It. I wanted to play so I made this card:

I used Lawn Fawn's "milk and cookies" set with pp from the "sweater weather" paper pad. On the tag, I stamped and masked a lot to create the little scene. Everything is colored with copics and the background was made with Distress Inks and an Ink Blending Tool. This card makes me want to eat cookies! Off to find some :)

Winnie & Walter Share The Love Featuring: Elle's Studio

Welcome to a special winnie & walter share the love post featuring: Elle's Studio! This week, some girls of the winnie & walter DT show how to combine Elle's Studio goodies with wonderful winnie & walter stamps. I got a box full of sweet Elle's Studio products and couldn't stop creating, so this post is project-heavy :)
Let's better get started! First, a card:

Here I stamped and heat-embossed the "hello" from The Big, the Bold, and the Happy onto that cute journaling card. The "baby" is from the same set. I thought that adorable snail from You've Got Love Mail would be perfect for a baby card.
Next, two birthday cards:

The happy colors of the Everyday Moments collection work so well for birthday cards! I used that journaling circle with the stars as starting point and stamped more stars in matching colors from the Scenery: Big Bang Confetti set onto the card. The sentiment from The Big, the Bold, and the Happy was heat-embossed using white embossing powder on black cardstock.

Here I used the little envelope from You've Got Love Mail and paper-pieced it. The sentiment is from The Big, the Bold, and the Happy again.
Here comes one last card before I have some layouts to share:

This one uses The Big, the Bold and You, Parentville and Scenery: Big Bang Confetti.
Now some layouts:

On this layout, I combined wood veneer and stamps from The Big, the Bold, and the Happy to create a title.

Here I used The Write Stuff: Love Story and You've Got Love Mail. And The Big, the Bold and You.
Ok, you almost made it! One last little layout for my Snap Album:

Her very first wobbly tooth. Don't grow up so fast!! I stamped elements from The Write Stuff: Love Story and stars from Scenery: Big Bang Confetti. For this layout, I used this sketch from the Elle's Studio blog.

Jetzt hat es eine Weile gedauert bis ich mein nächstes Werk posten kann. Tsts, das Leben! Hier kommt eine einfache Karte:

The white cardbase was embossed with an Hero Arts embossing folder. The stamp is Hero Arts, too. And the patterned paper that I trimmed the flowers and the butterfly from is from the Simple Stories Vintage Bliss collection again. Available here at Scrapbook Werkstatt! So funny that I prefer cas cards, but like to get messy on my layouts. See you tomorrow with one!

Die weisse Kartenbasis habe ich mit einem Hero Arts Embossingfolder geprägt. Der Stempel ist auch von Hero Arts. Und das Designpapier, aus dem ich die Blumen und den Schmetterling geschnitten habe, ist aus der Vintage Bliss Serie von Simple Stories. Gibts immer noch hier bei der Scrapbook Werkstatt! So witzig, dass ich CAS Karten bevorzuge, aber auf den Layouts gerne herumpansche! Morgen zeige ich Euch davon wieder eins!

I like the look of white embossing on the cork patterned paper. And this collection is so versatile. Did I mention that I love it? The Simple Stories 24/Seven line is available here at Scrapbook Werkstatt.

Yes, I am still here! Life got a bit turbulent and difficult, so there was a little break here on the blog. But today I am back with a cute gift bag:

I created this for the 11th day of Scrapbook Werkstatt's Advent Calendar. A tutorial on how to fold this gift bag can be found in the Scrapbook Werkstatt Forum here. I used Pink Paislee's City Sidewalks line and perfect Hero Arts stamps with matching Sizzix dies. Just love them, they work so well! For a snowy look, I applied white acrylic paint and Stickles. Ich habe das für das elfte Türchen des Scrapbook Werkstatts Adventskalenders gemacht. Eine genaue Anleitung, wie man diese Geschenktüte faltet, findet Ihr hier im Scrapbook Werkstatt Forum. Ich habe Pink Paislees City Sidewalks Linie verwendet, sowie perfekte Hero Arts Stempel mit passenden Sizzix Stanzen. Ich liebe die, die funktionieren einfach so gut! Mailable is my motto for christmas. One year, I made pretty cards with lots of embellishments. A button here, a button there and some lace and big bows and then? I wasn't able to send them all. It was just too expensive to send big and bulky envelopes to everybody. So now I try to create cards that are flat. And not too heavy. This one is at the limit. But I wanted it to be very pretty for you :) Sewing these little banners is so much fun. I just die-cut small pieces from patterned paper (Echo Park's Very Merry Christmas collection) and sewed them together. Easy. The sentiment is printed directly onto the card base. I changed the color of the sentiment in Photoshop first.

Verschickbar ist mein Motto an Weihnachten. In einem Jahr hatte ich mal hübsche Karten mit vielen Verzierungen gemacht. Ein Knopf hier, ein Knopf da und ein wenig Spitze, eine dicke Schleife und dann? Ich konnte sie nicht alle verschicken. Es war einfach zu teuer, dicke, ausladende Umschläge an alle zu schicken. Also versuche ich jetzt Karten zu machen, die flach sind. Und nicht zuu schwer. Die hier ist an der Grenze. Aber ich wollte sie extra hübsch für Euch machen :)
Diese kleinen Banner zu nähen macht mir viel Spass. Ich habe einfach kleine Teilchen aus Designpapier ausgeschnitten (Echo Parks Very Merry Christmas Linie) und sie dann zusammengenäht. Einfach. Der Spruch ist direkt auf die Karte gedruckt. Ich hab vorher die Farbe in Photoshop verändert.
