MLS - Make Live Share

Hello everyone! Today I have a fun project to share. Inspired by Richard Garay's Make Live Share movement, I created a little something for my girl. She is my biggest fan and cheerleader, always jumping up and down with joy about happy news, always admiring my creations and always eager to play with my supplies. So I wanted to surprise her with a special treat.
I loved the idea of this Going Places treat holder from Richard and created my own version of it:

First, I created the base/box with my score board. Then I layered everything on top of it. First came a stripe of patterned paper wrapped around the box, then some twine tied around that. Now I adhered a pink doily and fringe that was die-cut from card stock. I found this cute wood button in my stash, so this came next. Then I die-cut a rectangle from rose card stock and stamped a matching sentiment for my girl. I adhered the rectangle with foam tape, then added the sequins and the butterfly. Finally, I tied a pretty bow from turquoise ribbon and adhered this, too.

She was delighted:

CRATE PAPER BOY'S RULE CHALLENGE

Hello! If you know me, you know that I can't miss a Crate Paper challenge. This time it was a very difficult one for me - being a mom to a sweet girl, the BOY'S RULE CHALLENGE was quite a task. But then I remembered an upcoming boy's birthday and made this ensemble:

I combined various collections - Story Teller, Party Day, Acorn Avenue, Close Knit. That cute dino is a cutting file from Lori Whitlock. I hope you like it!

Pretty Packages

Today I have some pretty packages for you. I love everything Crate Paper, and the Close Knit collection is no exception. Here I made some gift wraps with this line:

Heute hab ich ein paar hübsche Päckchen für Euch. Ich liebe alles von Crate Paper und die Close Knit Serie ist da keine Ausnahme. Hier habe ich sie verwendet, um einige Geschenkverpackungen zu machen:

I am not good at wrapping gifts - especially unshapely ones. But using a box or a bag and embellishing them like this is working well for me :)

Ich bin nicht gut im Geschenke einpacken - vor allem bei unförmigen. Aber eine Schachtel oder Tüte zu verwenden und sie dann so zu verzieren klappt für mich gut :)

All Hallow's Eve

Hi! I am back with more Halloween projects. Today a card and an easy treatbag topper:

Everything is from the Carta Bella All Hallow's Eve collection again. For the treatbag topper, I just die-cut a label from patterned paper and folded it into half. Some stickers and voilà! This collection is available at Scrapbook Werkstatt. And for even more Halloween inspiration, be sure to not miss this:

Alles ist wieder von der Carta Bella All Hallow's Eve Linie. Für den Geschenktütenverschluss habe ich einfach ein Label aus Designpapier gestanzt und in der Mitte gefaltet. Hi! Just quickly sharing the little gift I made for my MIL for Easter. She always says that we are not allowed to get her anything, but I like to wind myself out of that request by making something for her :) So I didn't really buy anything. And those dark chocolate eggs are just there to make the egg stand better...

HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS

Hello! I’m super excited to share a fun new digital/paper crafting kit with you today!

One of my online scrappy friends, Shanna Vineyard, has combined her love of hand-drawing and painting mixed with her fondness of bright, happy colors to bring us a kit that is different than anything you’ve ever seen! In celebration of her relocating back home to Arizona next week, she was inspired to create this kit, “Home Is Where the Heart Is” that includes over 50 different hand-drawn and painted images.  They can be used in your digital projects or can be easily resized and printed to cut out and use with your traditional scrapbooking and card making creations.  The possibilities are endless and you will have them to use over and over again as much as you like for as many projects as you wish!  So FUN!!!

Here’s what I made using her kit…..

The best thing with digital kits is, that you can choose what size your elements will be. So it's really easy to make shaped cards like I did here. I just printed out two of the hearts in cardsize (one heart was flipped before printing) and assembled them to create my cardbase. I had so much fun embellishing it! And because I enjoyed it so much, I created another project:
