25 Days of Christmas Tags

Hello and welcome to the 25 Days of Christmas Tags! Today, the Sunny Studio Stamps Team will provide you with inspiration for cute Christmas Tags. Find all the details of this event here.

I just love the tiny tags from Window Squad Square Dies, so I decided to use these for my fun set of tags:

Each tag consists of two tags, the scalloped ones are die-cut from colored cardstock, the top layer from white cardstock. This way you can write a greeting onto the bottom tag. I assembled the two layers with baker's twine. For the front, I chose the adorable penguins from Penguin Pals. These always make me smile! I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics and die-cut the elements with the matching dies before adhering them to the tags with foam tape.

I hope you like the cuties as much as I do!

Thank you so much for stopping by, enjoy the inspiration!

Masculine Gift Bag

Hi everybody! Today I have a masculine gift bag to share. I made it with the new RG collection Lumberjack Days.

I adhered a piece of the plaid patterned paper to a Kraft gift bag. Then I die-cut a tag from FSJ Black Licorice cardstock and tied on FSJ Black Licorice Journey Thread. I die-cut the saw from FSJ Oatmeal Cookie cardstock and stamped the sentiment with FSJ Black Licorice Ink. Now I colored the handles of the saw with a black marker and adhered the die-cut to the tag. I stamped the face of the Lumberjack onto FSJ Oatmeal Cookie cardstock and colored it with colored pencils, then I fussy-cut the image and adhered it to the tag with FSJ medium Journey Foam Squares. Now I attached the tag to the bag with a clothespin.

I hope you like today's masculine project! For me, it is always a challenge to create something suitable for a man :) Find the whole Lumberjack Days products here in the catalog! And more inspiration here on Richard Garay's blog. Thanks for stopping by!

A Last Christmas Project

Hello everyone! Here comes one last Christmas project for this year! I love using felt for the cold season (at least it once was the cold season, right now nature is confused and the flowers and trees start blooming). Here I created some poinsettia tags with non-Christmas products and felt:

These were made with normal flower dies from the RG Celebra'tions Collection. What do you think? They make some pretty good poinsettias, don't they? For some festive sparkle, I added sequins and beads.
I'll enter this to the current Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge "MAKE IT SPARKLE".

Keeping it short today, in Germany we are celebrating on Christmas Eve and I'll be busy all day long. But I wanted to take the time to wish you all a merry Christmas, a wonderful time with your loved ones and peaceful holidays. Thank you so much for visiting!

Share the Love Week: Distress Inks ( tag it!)

Welcome to the last day of the winnie & walter share the love week featuring Distress Inks by Ranger! The last challenge is to create a tag. Here is mine:

I used the emboss-resist technique again. First, I arranged various triangles from Scenery: Rectangled & Triangled onto an acrylic block, then I stamped and heat-embossed them onto a tag, that I die-cut from cardstock, using white embossing powder. With my Mini Ink Blending Tool,  I applied Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink. Then I stamped two matching triangles next to the embossed ones. For the sentiment, I heat-embossed words from The Big, the Bold, and The Happy with white embossing powder onto black cardstock, trimmed them and adhered them to the tag with foam tape. For some more color and pattern, I die-cut a second tag from pp and tied them together with the twine. I hope you like it!
On the winnie & walter blog, you'll get another chance to win one of the lovely prizes. Just hop over and leave a comment and don't forget to enter the challenges! Thank you for visiting!

I have some more little projects using Farm Girl to share. Here are some cute tags to give with homemade jam:

Ich habe noch ein paar kleine Werke mit Farm Girl zum Zeigen. Hier sind ein paar niedliche Anhänger, um selbstgemachte Marmelade zu verschenken:

I like to use foam tape with stickers for more dimension. And to give away some homemade preserves, this gift bag would work:

Ich verwende gerne Schaumstoffklebestücke, um Aufklebern mehr Tiefe zu verleihen. Und um selbst Eingemachtes zu verschenken, würde sich diese Geschenktüte gut eignen:

Christmas Tags

Hello! Our favorite season of the year will come soon, so it's time to get started on these christmas projects. Here is a fun set of tags:

Hallo! Unsere liebste Jahreszeit kommt bald, also wirds Zeit mit diesen Weihnachtsprojekten loszulegen. Hier ist ein nettes Set Geschenkanhänger:

These came together quite quickly. Working with one collection, in this case the Very Merry Christmas line from Echo Park, makes it easy. Everything works well together, so I just varied the layout of every tag a bit and used the same ingredients on every one. This wonderful collection is available at Scrapbook Werkstatt. Thanks for visiting!

Skipping Stones Design - Sketch 67

Happy Tuesday! Here comes my take on this week's Skipping Stones Design Sketch:

I used the gorgeous butterfly from the "Healing Wings" set and a sentiment from the "Always Here" set combined with some yummy Cosmo Cricket paper. The image and the sentiment are heat embossed with black embossing powder - I think that the sentiment looks crisper on a patterned background this way.

I hope you'll join us this week! Check out the amazing samples from the DT and Guests here!

Have a beautiful day and thanks for visiting!

Oh, and I didn't forget the winner from my give-away! I'll post her tomorrow!

Hugs,
Vanessa

Cute Tags

Happy Friday! Are you looking forward to the weekend? We seem to get some sunshine here - yay! And I can't wait for the first photos of CHA! I hope my wishlist won't become too long :)

Here are three fun tags I made with various "My Cute Stamps" sets:

For the first one I used some flowers and the butterfly from the "Night Owl" set and the Happy Birthday from the "Birthday Numbers" set. Everything is colored with copics.

On the second one I paper-pieced the balloon from the "Birthday Numbers" set.

The third one uses the yummy cake from the "Birthday Numbers" set, the Congratulations is from "Ashley's Blossoms" and the little rose from "Tea Party".

I am into tags recently - I think it's such a nice detail on a gift!

Have a beautiful, sunny, funny day! Thanks for visiting

Hugs,
Vanessa

Papertrey November Blog Hop Challenge

Happy Thursday, friends! It's time for another

and I am glad to be joining in! You'll find the list of all the blogs on Nichole's blog here. The November Blog Hop Challenge is to create holiday tags. Here is mine:

I only own one christmas set so far, so the possibilities were a bit limited and I had to be creative :) The sentiment is from the Tree Trimming Trio set and the flourish from the Embellishments set. I wanted the tag to be "useful", not simply a piece of paper to write a name on and decided to create an embellishment that can be used again and again. This felt poinsettia is a brooch:

To create it, I used the larger leaf from the Delightful Dahlia dies. Easy!

Happy Hopping and thanks for visiting!

Hugs,
Vanessa

Supplies:
Cardstock: Papertrey Ink
Patterned Paper: (Father Christmas) Pink Paislee
Stamps: (Embellishments, Tree Trimming Trio) Papertrey Ink
Ink: Tsukineko, Ranger Industries

Christmas Tags

Happy Friday! Thanks for your sweet comments about my little woot woot post. I didn't make it to the Design Team, but I was so honored about being one of the finalists already :)
Now to some little tags! I made these for the Hero Arts Challenge "Gift Tags and Handmade Gifts" :

These are hybrid, using the new sweet Hero Arts digi-kit "Feathered Friends". I printed the bird onto different papers and paper-pieced it. The edges of the labels are inked with white ink. I like the effect of this on Kraft:

And a close-up of a bird:

Are you looking forward to the weekend? Any plans? I hope your day is beautiful! Thanks for visiting!

Holiday Cards & More + Holiday Thinking Inking

Happy Tuesday! Today I am back with some Christmas creations. First is a cute little tag that was published in the Paper Crafts Holiday Cards & More, Volume 5. A MUST-HAVE-MAGAZINE! So many fab projects for Christmas! I can't stop looking through that mag for inspiration! Here is one of my projects:

This little gingerbreadman tag is very versatile, you can embellish it like you would do with christmas cookies! You'll find the free pattern for it here, as well as another pattern for a gift bag I made. The poinsettia gift bag was featured here.

Now to a card. Jennifer McGuire is back at 2Peas with another Thinking Inking Class!! Yay! I made a card for the first week:

This is a hybrid card, the holly is from a Hero Arts digi kit called "Season's Greetings Collage". I inked the holly quickly with distress inks, stamped the "Old Letter Writing" over it and cut it out (not so quickly). On the background I stamped the "Music Background" (I so so love it and thanks to a sweet sweet friend I own it now!). The sentiment is from another Hero Arts set called "Merry Christmas". The gems are Prima Marketing. Can't wait to try the new techniques Jennifer shows us this week! Oh and I'll enter this card to this month's Hero Arts challenge "Holiday Cardmaking".

I had to free the windows of my car from ICE this morning!!! Can't believe it's that cold already! But we still have beautiful sunshine. Love the light this time of the year! My little one is enjoying her sandpit and her Mom is enjoying every sandcake she bakes. Raspberry and Chocolate. And sometimes Cherry Cake :) With whipped cream. Love listening to her sweet voice while she is "baking" singing "Backe backe Kuuchen...". It's melting my heart everytime.

Have a sunny day and thanks for visiting, sweet friends!

Hugs,
Vanessa
