A Cute Lawn Fawn Scene

 Hello there! I had such fun creating a cute scene for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge.

Here is my first take, and probably not my last:

 The background is inked with Salty Ocean, Tumbled Glass and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide inks. The images are colored with Copic markers.

99 Red Balloons - Lawn Fawnatics Challenge

 Happy weekend! After my daughter shared her card yesterday, I am back with my card for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge. We love being inspired by fun challenges and enjoy creating together. 

My first ever favorite song I can remember was 99 Red Balloons from Nena when I was in Kindergarten. Of course, I loved the original, German version that only says 99 Balloons and nothing about red - but for my card it was perfect:

The balloons were stamped, masked, stamped and so on. Then I masked off the rectangle and inked the background with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink. I added a red line with a marker around that rectangle and colored my balloons with Copics. Not sure how I like my try to make them look translucent by indicating the shapes with a pencil! I added highlights with a white gel pen and adhered my panel to the card base. After I had stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of blue cardstock, I adhered it together with tiny star sequins.

A Card Made by Alyssa

 Hello! Here is Alyssa. I really liked the idea and made a card for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge inspired by the book Bliss Bakery, one of my favorite book series. This challenge is a wonderful inspiration!

Here is my card:

This sleeping gnome was required for a recipe in the first book. He had to whisper the secret of time into the dough. And every time a magic ingredient is put into the bowl, there are these blue bolts. I liked that the Bliss family wanted to help others with their magic recipes. 

These are the stamp sets and dies that I used:

Fly Away With Me - Lawn Fawn Rainbow Watercolor Card

 Happy Friday! My dear friend Isha is this month's Guest Designer for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, so I wanted to join the current challenge 94:

I played around with watercoloring, masking and ink blending:

First, I stamped all the images, always masking the previously stamped image before stamping the next. Then I masked off stripes and applied watercolors to create the rainbow stripes, trying to let them fade towards the bottom. Now I inked the top part with Chipped Sapphire Distress Oxide Ink and removed all the masks. I colored the images with Copics, added details with a white gel pen and stamped the sentiment before adhering the panel to the card base.

Such fun to add all the colors! It looks like there are some people out there who don't like rainbows, but if you are not one of them, I hope you enjoy today's card to brighten your day!

Lawn Fawn Color Challenge

 Well, hello! It's been a bit quiet around here, but this season requires absence from social media sometimes. Today I am back with a last minute card for the current Lawn Fawnatics Color Challenge inspired by this lovely combo:

Here comes my take:

My sky is inked with Distress Oxide Inks (wilted violet, chipped sapphire, tumbled glass), the images are colored with Copics. I just had to use these cute car critters, I've had them lying around for a while. The snow was added with a white gel pen. It is also glittery, but I wasn't able to catch that on camera.

I used the following sets:

Oh Baby

There is a new, cute little baby boy in town, so this was the perfect excuse to create a baby-themed project that fits the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge.

Here comes my take:

A card and a pop-up mini album to hold first photos for the grand-parents. All images are colored with Copics and die-cut with the matching dies. I used so many various sets, I'll list them at the bottom of the post. Here comes a closer look at the album:

All the grand-parents have to do is add photos to the pages and they can display the album wherever they want to.

I will have a video on my Instagram account to see the little booklet in action. It was such fun to create this for our friends. I hope they'll like it!

Anything But A Card - A Goodie Bag

This little scene was created with various under-the-sea-themed sets. The bag is inked with Distress Oxide inks, the images are colored with Copics, the waves are die-cut from vellum.

Hang In There

Hello to you! Here comes an uplifting card for all of those out there who are frustrated or sad. I hope it'll make you smile. Just know you are not alone, so hang in there!

I love the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge: Spectacular Skies and wanted to play.

Here comes what I made of it:

The background is inked with various Distress Oxide Inks, then I applied tiny tiny water droplets and shimmer from a Wink of Stella brush. The sentiment from Hang In There is heat-embossed with white embossing powder. All the images were colored with Copics and die-cut with the matching dies. I mixed Gleeful Gardens and Really High Five. This little bunny is the cutest!!

Happy Birthday Lawn Fawn

Hello to you! The last few days I was able to spend a few minutes at my desk now and then and created a card using a cute new Lawn Fawn stamp set for the current Lawn Fawnatics Happy Birthday Challenge:

I love this adorable really high five set:

I started with a panel of white cardstock, stamped all the balloons and the critters (always masking the previously stamped image with masking paper) and applied Distress Oxide inks to create the background. After I had applied water droplets, I removed the masks and colored everything with Copics. Then I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto dark red cardstock and adhered the strip to the card. To finish it off, I added cute clay confetti.

Center Window Card

Hello! I told you, Alyssa's card made me want to create a center window card, too. So here I am with my first one! Such a fun die to create cute little cards. I'll enter this one to the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 59 and the SSSW Challenge Anything Goes.

Waiting for cooler fall weather made me make this:

The card base and elements are inked with Distress Oxide inks and blended with water. The images are colored with Copics.

The outside is pretty simple, the magic happens inside :)

Kids Summer Vacation Challenge

Hello! I am here with a card made by my daughter for the Simon Says Stamp Kids Summer Vacation Challenge.  She loves taking part in this challenge every year!

Here comes her entry:

I recently gave in and got the cute Lawn Fawn Center Window Dies, but haven't had the chance to use them yet. Now Alyssa did! She fussy-cut the unicorn, quite some skills with the scissors and I know where to look when I can't find my good small scissors :)
To color the images, she used Faber Castell Polychromos. For her sparkle, she chose white glitter cardstock that she die-cut stars from.

Now I need to make a cute center window card, too! Thank you for visiting!

Cute Lawn Fawn Pop-up Box Baby Card

Happy weekend, fellow crafters! Our piano teacher became father of a sweet girl, so I had an excuse to make a cute baby card :) I played with my Lawn Fawn supplies to make a card for the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge "What's the Weather".

I wanted to use happy rainbow colors, so this is what I came up with:

I first colored watercolor paper with various Distress Inks mixed with water to create the rainbow. Then I die-cut the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up and the rectangles from it and assembled the box.

I stamped the images from Hello Baby,  Gleeful Gardens and Little Bundle onto white cardstock, colored everything with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered them to the card. Finally, I die-cut the baby's name from watercolored paper with Cole's ABCs and adhered it to the front flap.

On this pic, you can see that I applied glitter to some images:

I so enjoyed creating this for a new little bundle! The best reason to make a card :)

The Colors of Fall

I really love the colors of fall, so the mood board from the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 36 inspired me immediately.

And here is the result of today's me time:

I first created my background with watercolors and adhered the panel to my card base. Then I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics and die-cut all the elements with the matching dies before adhering them to the card. Some pieces are raised with foam tape. Finally, I added orange and purple sequins for some bling.

This card also fits the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Stamp on it and the Simon Says Stamp Lawn Fawn's STAMPtember 2018 Exclusive Challenge.

A Watercolor Critter Card

Hey everyone! Today I am sharing a watercolor critter card. I combined the Lawnscaping Challenge (Watercoloring) and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (Create With Critters) for this.

Here comes a cute little Valentine's Day card:

I started with a panel of watercolor paper that I had trimmed slightly smaller than my pink card base. Then I masked off stripes and applied watercolor (some stripes were made with Distress Ink mixed with water, some with Gelatos mixed with water). After it was dried,  I stamped the heart trail and the sentiment and adhered the panel to the card. I stamped and colored the little critter and the wheel and die-cut them with the matching dies. Now I adhered them to the card with foam tape and finished the card off with sequins. 

I love playing with watercolors! And cute little critter stamps :)
