Welcome to the winnie & walter August Release Tour of the Stars!! For this release, everything is a bit different, because this release is different! You will love the new sets. The are so big! Every set is 6 x 8. And they are very versatile and full of lovely elements. On tonight's tour, you'll be able to win prizes, so be sure to leave comments on the blogs! But now, let's get started. I am showing you one card for each stamp set today, but I made a lot more and will show them another day.
For my first card, I used Moonlight and the matching cutting files. I placed the face onto the pumpkin
before cutting it from white card stock. Then I used an Ink Blending Tool and Distress Inks to color it. Afterwards, I adhered black card stock behind the face before placing it onto my patterned paper. Don't you love the font of the haunting in the sentiment? This stamp set has so many great elements and the cutting files are great, too!
My second card uses A Tree for All Seasons. It's so versatile! Here I created my own patterned paper with a single leaf stamp. On the cluster, I used the coordinating cutting file to cut some leaves. The sentiment is from the same set, I just trimmed it after I had stamped it to tuck it in behind my burlap button.
On the last card, made with This Awesome House, I did a lot of paper-piecing. I found this brick patterned paper in my Maggie Holmes paper pad and thought it would make a perfect brick house. After paper-piecing everything, I colored the windows, the door and the roof with copics. Then I stamped the little cat and added a little red bow to the door.
Ok, a wonderful release, don't you think? I can't wait to see what all the other girls did with it. I am the last stop of the tour. Here comes the full list of designers:
Happy hopping, good luck and thanks for stopping by!
