Hello to you! It's my last day guesting for the MFT March Sketch Challenge. Besides my take on the sketch, you'll get a tutorial on how to color number balloons to make them look like foil number balloons. I got asked a lot about them on previous cards, so here it is. But first comes Sketch 535:
And this is what I made inspired by it:3/31/2021

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge Guest Designer
Hello to you! It's Wednesday again, so there's another new Sketch Challenge up on the MFT Blog today. It's such been such fun to create a new card every week, I will miss this when it's over!
This week, I ended up with a cute winter birthday card, using this lovely sketch:
I just had to use the adorable fox from SY Christmas Cheer for this:
First, I trimmed a small panel from white cardstock and inked it with Seedless Preserves and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Inks. Now I stamped the landscape, colored it with Copics, die-cut it, adhered the image to the panel, trimmed the panel and adhered everything to my white card base. I die-cut a circle from vellum, added snow dots with a white gel pen and adhered the circle. Then I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of plum cardstock, trimmed it and added it to the card. I stamped the cute fox onto white cardstock, colored it with Copic markers, die-cut it with the matching dies and adhered it to the card with foam tape. Finally, I added tiny star sequins to the vellum circle.9/16/2020

It's Wednesday, so it means that it's time for a new Sketch Challenge from My Favorite Things! I am excited to share another card using the new September release. This week's sketch is pretty simple, so it's perfect for CAS cards:
Here comes my take:
I started with a panel of white cardstock that I had trimmed slightly smaller than my card base. I inked the panel with Seedless Preserves and Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Inks and added tiny white paint droplets before adhering the piece to the card. Now I stamped the adorable images from SY Christmas Cheer onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card with foam tape.9/02/2020
MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge Guest Designer
Hello to you, my lovely friends! I am so thrilled that I was asked by My Favorite Things to be their Guest Designer for the Wednesday Sketch Challenge again! I LOVE designing for them! I'll be sharing my take on the weekly sketches this month and believe me, you don't want to miss the wonderful new September Release coming later this week! But first the current sketch:
Isn't this sketch fun? It made me think of the cute BB Selfie stamp sets immediately. For my card, I used the stamp sets differently:I started with a white square of cardstock and inked the background with Peacock Feathers and Dried Marigold Distress Oxide Inks. Then I used the fun Wonky Dots Stencil to add dots with white Pigment Ink. Now I stamped the adorable images from BB Picture Perfect Party Animals onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, fussy-cut both and adhered them to the inked square. I trimmed another square from blue cardstock, arranged the pieces and adhered them to the card. Using Versamark Ink, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of blue cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, notched one end, layered it with a strip of orange cardstock and adhered it to the card. Finally, I added tiny star sequins.
These two faces are the cutest, don't you agree? I hope you'll join us this week for your chance to win a $50 gift voucher to the MFT Shop. Thank you so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Use 2 or More Patterned Papers
Hello to you! I am back with a new card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!
This week's challenge is
USE 2 OR MORE PATTERNED PAPERS
We are showcasing Doodlebug products this time, but you don't have to use them to join.
Here comes my take on the new challenge, using 4 different patterned papers:
Then I stamped the images onto white cardstock, paper-pieced parts of them, colored the elements with Copics, fussy-cut the pieces and adhered them to the card, popping-up the middle image with foam tape. The cute cup is not a stamp, but another part of a patterned paper that I just fussy-cut and traced with a black marker.
A card with these cute images will surely make a sick friend feel better, don't you think? Now I hope you'll join us for this fun challenge for your chance to win this:
Thank you so much for visiting today, have a wonderful day!
