Number Balloons

Hello to you! Just quickly stopping by to share a fun card I made with the cute MFT Pumped-Up Numbers stamps for the current SSS Wednesday Challenge: Happy Birthday.

I hope this happy rainbow will brighten your day:

I had stamped the balloons, then added shadows with colored pencils and highlights with a white gel pen. The cute bunny is colored with Copics and fussy-cut.

Have a wonderful day everybody!!

Cool Birthday

Hello to you! I am back with a card I made using the color palette from the new MFT Color Challenge. Also entering this to the SSSW Challenge Anything Goes.

These are the pretty colors I wanted to use:

And here comes my take:

The penguin is masked, the background inked with MFT Ripe Raspberry Ink. I used the Confetti Stencil to add the dots to the background. The image is colored with Copic Markers, the "happy" was die-cut from another panel I had inked the same way (the Big Birthday Die-namics is one plate, I just wanted to use the one word) and is popped up with another layer of white letters. The "birthday" is from BB Bitty Bears, I covered the "happy" when I inked the stamp to heat-emboss the word onto the strip of black paper.

Love this penguin, I just had to pull that set out to play! Hope your day is wonderful, thanks for visiting!

Masked Flowers

Hello to you! How are you doing out there? I hope you are all well and safe. Today, I made a birthday card for the current MFT The Birthday Project Challenge  (Flowers) and the new SSSW Challenge: Anything Goes.

Here comes my take:

This is almost an one-layer card, the center piece was masked and is not adhered to the front. I first masked that rectangle, stamped the flowers, masked them and inked the background with Distress Oxide Ink. Then I removed the masks, colored the flowers, reversed the mask of the center and applied yellow Distress Ink to it. I stamped the sentiment and added clear droplets.

Have a wonderful day everybody! Thanks for stopping by!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes

Hello to you! Unfortunately, it is my last week guesting on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog. It's been wonderful, thank you again for this opportunity! So let's get to my last challenge.

This week's challenge is

ANYTHING GOES

The wonderful Design Team is featuring Impression Obsession this time, but I didn't have any products from them and you don't have to use them to join.

I chose to create a happy, cute spring scene:

I first covered the front of my card with pink checked patterned paper. Now I trimmed a panel of white cardstock slightly smaller than my card base, inked it with blue ink and adhered it to the card. I stamped the images onto white cardstock, colored them with Copics, die-cut the elements with the matching dies and adhered everything to the card. Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it, adding the small butterfly to the edge.

Yes, I could take some squishy hugs! How about you?

Now I hope you'll join us for this fun challenge for your chance to win this:

Thank you very much for visiting today, have a wonderful day!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Add a Sentiment

Hello to you! It's time for a new challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

This week's challenge is

ADD A SENTIMENT

We are showcasing Hero Arts products this time, but you don't have to use them to join.

This is my take on the challenge:

I first trimmed a panel from white cardstock and from rainbow patterned paper. Now I die-cut the large sentiment from the cardstock piece, layered the two panels and adhered them to a blue card base. I stamped the unicorns, colored them with Copics, fussy-cut the images and adhered them with foam tape. Then I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, trimmed it and adhered it. Finally, I added clear droplets.

I love rainbows and those unicorns? Adorable!! Now I hope you'll join us for this fun challenge for your chance to win this:

Thank you very much for stopping by today, have a wonderful day!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Use 2 or More Patterned Papers

Hello to you! I am back with a new card for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

This week's challenge is

USE 2 OR MORE PATTERNED PAPERS

We are showcasing Doodlebug products this time, but you don't have to use them to join.

Here comes my take on the new challenge, using 4 different patterned papers:

First, I trimmed the pink polka dot patterned paper slightly smaller than my white card base and adhered it. Now I trimmed a panel from Kraft cardstock, stamped the sentiment, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, drew a white line with a gel pen and adhered the panel.
Then I stamped the images onto white cardstock, paper-pieced parts of them, colored the elements with Copics, fussy-cut the pieces and adhered them to the card, popping-up the middle image with foam tape. The cute cup is not a stamp, but another part of a patterned paper that I just fussy-cut and traced with a black marker.

I stamped and heat-embossed the second sentiment onto aqua cardstock, die-cut the label and adhered it to the card. Finally, I added tiny clay hearts.

A card with these cute images will surely make a sick friend feel better, don't you think? Now I hope you'll join us for this fun challenge for your chance to win this:

Thank you so much for visiting today, have a wonderful day!

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Designer Spotlight

Hello to you! Today I am thrilled to be guesting on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog!

Such fun! The first challenge of the month is

WITH LOVE

We are showcasing Simon Says Stamp products this week, but you don't have to use them to join.

Here comes my take:

I started with a panel of white cardstock. First, I stamped the heart image from Pawsome Love multiple times, always masking the hearts before stamping the next. Now I inked the background using Distress Oxide inks. Using the MFT Confetti Stencil, I added a bokeh effect with white pigment ink. After I had removed the masks, I colored the balloons with Copic markers and added the strings with a black marker.

I stamped the cat image onto white cardstock, colored it with Copic Markers, fussy-cut it and adhered it to the card with foam tape. Finally, I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, trimmed it and adhered the sentiment to the card.

This cat is hilarious, don't you agree? It makes me smile big! Now I hope you'll join us for this challenge for your chance to win this:

Thank you so much for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

A Big Card for a Wonderful Trainee

Hello to you! In midst of all the Christmas turmoil, my colleagues asked me to make a card for our sweet trainee who will leave this week. So this card is a labour of love for a wonderful girl who is happening to celebrate her 18th birthday on Saturday.

I chose to use various Stacey Yacula stamps from My Favorite Things. I wanted the critters to hold this banner and the SY sets perfectly provided images holding their "arms" like I needed them to. Everything is colored with Copics, then fussy-cut. I wrote the text onto the banner that I cut from patterned paper. The background is inked with Distress Oxide Ink. Because this card is unusually big (12x25cm), I created my own envelope using large patterned paper and the Envelope Punch Board.

This card was such fun to make. And especially because I knew who will receive it :)

I'll add this partying gang to the current SSS Wednesday Challenge: Party Time. Thanks for stopping by today!

Last Minute Halloween Card

Happy Halloween everybody! I recently colored the cute MFT witch and wanted to put her onto a card, so I quickly made a last minute Halloween card with it. I was inspired by the current MFT Color Challenge using these colors:

And I will enter this card to the new SSS Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes.

I had such fun with watercolors and happily smeared them onto my cardstock panel with some foil to create the background. After it was dried, I stamped and heat-embossed the stars, the bat and the sentiment. The cute witch is stamped onto white cardstock, then colored with Copics, fussy-cut and adhered with foam tape.

Have a happy, fun, (not too) scary day! Thanks for visiting!

Fall Shadowbox Card

Hello! After all the christmas cards I created lately, I was in the mood for a fall project, so I made a fun shadowbox card using adorable Hello Bluebird stamps and dies.

Love the colors of fall! I'll enter this to the current SSS Wednesday Challenge and the Hello Bluebird IG Challenge:

This gang is adorable, don't you agree? I colored the images with Copic markers, the background is inked with Distress Oxide inks.

Here you can see how the card fits an envelope:

We've been enjoying warm, sunny weather here with about 20°C - but next week the temperatures will drop and it might start snowing, so back to wintry projects then :)

Have a sunny day and thanks for visiting!

Center Window Card

Hello! I told you, Alyssa's card made me want to create a center window card, too. So here I am with my first one! Such a fun die to create cute little cards. I'll enter this one to the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 59 and the SSSW Challenge Anything Goes.

Waiting for cooler fall weather made me make this:

The card base and elements are inked with Distress Oxide inks and blended with water. The images are colored with Copics.

The outside is pretty simple, the magic happens inside :)

It won't be my last card using this die! Thank you for stopping by today! (Video of the card in action on Instagram)

Kids Summer Vacation Challenge

Hello! I am here with a card made by my daughter for the Simon Says Stamp Kids Summer Vacation Challenge.  She loves taking part in this challenge every year!

Here comes her entry:

I recently gave in and got the cute Lawn Fawn Center Window Dies, but haven't had the chance to use them yet. Now Alyssa did! She fussy-cut the unicorn, quite some skills with the scissors and I know where to look when I can't find my good small scissors :)
To color the images, she used Faber Castell Polychromos. For her sparkle, she chose white glitter cardstock that she die-cut stars from.

Now I need to make a cute center window card, too! Thank you for visiting!

Camp Create: Glitzy Glitter

Here comes my last entry to the MFT Camp Create. This one is for the last day: Glitzy Glitter. Yay, I've earned all badges!!
And because I created my own background, I'll submit it to the SSSW Challenge: Make Your Own Background.

I got messy with my Distress Oxide Inks:

Did you ever experience problems with glitter cardstock? I had various silver/gold ones in my stash, but they all seemed to be broken. When trying to die-cut anything from them, the top coat aka glitter separated itself from the paper! Very frustrating. This pink one was the only one that worked!

Well, that's it for Camp Create. I enjoyed it very much, although it challenged me sometimes :)

Thanks for stopping by!
