Hello! I've been working on a fun little project for the MFT Card Design Superstar Contest: Innovation Master. It's been a lot of work, but I loved creating this:
I enjoyed adding all the details and had plenty more ideas on what else to add, but I didn't want to overstuff it! The box was made with a simple score board and I constructed the little hut with it, too. But let's start at the beginning !
This is what the recipient will see first:
After I had constructed the box and its lid, I thought it would be nice to add a shaker window to the top for a bit of action before opening the box to find the surprise inside.
I filled the shaker with sequins, die-cut hearts and a stamped and die-cut bone. The sides of the lid are covered with die-cut patterned paper rectangles.
Then, when taking off the lid, this cute little scene unfolds itself:
I covered the standing walls with blue cardstock, die-cut a white fence and grassy borders and adhered them. I constructed the little hut, die-cut the windows and the door, and stamped the paw print. After I had adhered the hut, I stamped all the images, colored them with Copics, die-cut them with the matching dies and arranged the scene.
The banner was created with a straw and fabric tape:
The tiny boxes were difficult to fold in such a small scale, but I think the 3D presents add so much fun to the scene:
The guests are arriving already, so let's paw-ty!!
I hope you like my project! All the stamps, dies and patterned paper are from My Favorite Things. I'll try to list all the sets I used below. Thank you so much for stopping by!!
