Spellbinders Mushroom Gift Bag

Hello there! I have another cute Spellbinders project to share using the Debi Adams set Getting All Mushy. Who knew mushrooms could be that adorable?

I stamped the images with light brown ink onto the Kraft cardstock panel and colored everything with colored pencils. Then I stamped the sentiment and added a die-cut heart to it. I adhered the panel to the gift bag with a clothes pin and adorned it with a burlap bow and a little button.

Thanks again to Spellbinders for letting me play with those cute Debi Adams stamps + dies sets!!

Watercolor Background Card

Hi everybody! I was asked if I'd like to play with some more Spellbinders products and happily agreed :)
So I am sharing a fun card made with the cute set Friends of a Feather from Debi Adams today.

This toucan needed a pretty background to shine on, so I created a green watercolor background for it:

I first wet the watercolor paper and then applied the green colors with a wide brush in a wavy motion. After everything was dried, I adhered the panel to the card and added tiny ink droplets. Now I stamped the images, colored them with Copics, fussy-cut everything and adhered them to the card.

Finally, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it.

I love this bird, how about you? I'll be back soon with another card I made with a Spellbinders set! Thanks for stopping by!

Spellbinders Shapeabilities Poppies

Hello everybody! Spellbinders was so kind to send me some more dies to play with, so today I have a card with the beautiful Shapeabilities Poppies Etched Dies to share.

These pretty flowers were die-cut from white cardstock and colored with Copics. I popped up the two largest blossoms with foam tape. For the background, I masked off a rectangle, inked it and stamped the text. To finish the card off, I added clear sequins.

These dies are so versatile! Find them here on the Spellbinders website!

You have already seen this llama in the banner and I couldn't resist using it, too! I think it's hilarious :) I first created my background on a panel of white cardstock, masking off a sky and a ground and inking it with an ink blending tool. Then I die-cut all the elements from white cardstock and colored them with Copics and an ink blending tool.

I even have a second card for today, all girly and cute:

Here I used the adorable panda dies. First, I created the watercolor background, applying wet watercolors with a piece of foil. After I had adhered the panel to the card, I stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment onto a strip of black cardstock and adhered it. Now I die-cut the elements to build my panda, colored it with Copics, assembled it and adhered it to the card with foam tape. Finally, I added sequins for some bling.

Spellbinders February 2018 Large Die of the Month

Hello sweet friends! I am honored to share a project I made using the Spellbinders February 2018 Large Die of the Month! This wonderful kit features 17 dies and is perfect for creating birthday cards. You can find the current kit, as well as all the information about the Month Club here on the Spellbinders Website.

This is what I came up with:

I started with a white card base and sofly inked the top portion with aqua ink. Then I applied tiny ink droplets and let the card dry. Now I inked white cardstock with an ink blending tool and die-cut the various elements. I arranged them all onto the front, using foam tape to pop up some parts for more dimension. Finally, I added colorful sequins for some bling.

These dies are fantastic, they even feature a pop-up element for the sentiment!
